I'm going to divide this review into three parts; Location, staff and finally the room it self. Finally I'll give a grade from 1 to 10.
Location is a little out side of Catania, and literally a stone throw from the Beach. Bus tickets can be bought at the reception, and the bus ride is, depending on traffic, ranging from 10-40 minutes, and can be quite packed during peak hours. The beach is beautiful but packed with locals during the weekends, so take this under consideration if your one that likes a more quiet and spacious beach.
The Staff is incredibly helpful and smiling, so they get a big + from me, for supplying good and comforting service. Not everyone speaks English very well, but they will do their best to help. The bar/restaurant is staffed from early morning till 11, and the staff there is also very helpful, though the food isn't very good and overpriced. Don't come for the food, the breakfast is mediocre at best, and quite small, coffee based beverage, croissant and some toast.
The rooms themselves are in quite terrible condition and at a bare minimum. I wouldn't recommend staying for longer than a few days. This is NOT a hotel, so they wont clean the room on a daily basis, so keep this in mind. The bathrooms were also a quite horrendous, with limescale and a clogged drain.
Location: Beautiful. Staff: Super friendly. Room: Quite poor. This oxymoron of an experience is hard to judge, but for shorter stays, it is perfect, but longer stays, are not.
4/10
