Tillagt 2016 till våra andra 3 fastigheter Laura Lookout, Barbara's Beach House och Sandy's Secret som alla ligger i vår privata Palmetto Beach Resort enklava. Denna riktigt vackra tillägg är rymlig och kan faktiskt rymma 4 gäster med en futon i vardagsrummet. Du kan få t kung sängen åtskilda i två tvillingar om du begär det. Vi byggde badrummet så att det kan komma in både genom sovrummet och separat från vardagsrummet för privatlivet på natten. Den här egenskapen ligger under Barbara's Beach House, som har haft så mycket framgång med Sandys och Laura's lay out sätt beslutade vi att bygga under Barbara. Med stora ljusa fönster och franska dörrar som öppnar ut mot ett Palapa täckt däck, kan du njuta av en vacker Palm Grove som lyser upp på natten. Det öppna området under Palms är perfekt för att grilla och hänga ut, Michael har till och med en ut dörr darttavla med ljus som du kan använda, kom ihåg bara dina pilar! Vi har en pool som delas med våra andra gäster men den bästa funktionen vi hittat är den enorma bryggan vi byggde köra 300 meter ut till havet med solbadsar som byggdes av sidorna och en stor simning på slutet och en stor Palapa till skugga dig från solen. Vi byggde en strand som du kan hänga på med med en Volley Ball Court om du är i det! Hela bryggan, stranden och poolen är täckta med schäslonger komplett med bekväma madrasser. Vi har personal på plats under hela dagen och en säkerhetsvakt vid sidan om natten för att säkerställa din säkerhet. Våra kontorstid är 09:00 till 17:00, så att någon alltid står till hands för att hjälpa till med dina behov. Du har enkel tillgång till Beach Road, som tar dig direkt in i mitten av staden med antingen en 5-10 minuters cykeltur eller en 10-15 minuters promenad, men platsen är tyst och avskild. lite Caye Caulker gammal !!! Michael kan hyra cyklar till $ 5 per dag eller ordna en golfbil om du känner dig, personligen tycker jag att cyklar är det absolut bästa sättet att komma runt beroende på din ålder !!

My 10 yr old really enjoyed having access to the courtyard area where there were free yard games to play. Having bikes to rent right on-site made renting effortless. The rooms were clean and spacious. The futon (sleeping for 3rd person) is also the couch and it was very hard to change between the two. The futon cushion is also very shaped in the couch form which leaves depressions. Probably best for only one person. The open air small restaurant of the next resort is right next door to the living room/futon area so you hear noise in the early morning and evening. The food is delicious.An open air yoga studio is within a two minute walk and that was lovely to attend their classes. We loved being away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets located to the north. It was quiet and peaceful.

Experience Palmetto Peace

This location was better than expected. The location was perfect and the facilities were superb. We really enjoyed being able to rent the bikes to explore Caye Caulker. Also, the onsite laundry service insured we went home looking and smelling suave. We would definitely recommend Palmetto Garden.

Amazing time away at Palmetto Garden cottage

We were both very impressed with the stay at Palmetto Garden cottage. The staff (Henry, Nythiria and all are awesome), the cats (Max and No name were our pets away from home) and all the amenities were fantastic. Would love to go back in a heartbeat. The dock was our favorite place for a 5 PM cocktail. The staff next door at Weezie's were also delightful. Thank you, Tim, and Debbie!!!! We will be strongly suggesting your place.

Amazing Experience!

We spent three nights here at the end of November 2024 and wished we had more time! The unit was spacious, staff were friendly and accommodating, and everything was nice and clean. We are considering bringing family back and staying in one of the larger units.

Great Place

The apartment was as described, very clean, very good air conditioner, which is needed in the tropical climate. The pool was quite good. They had a nice little restaurant five steps away, which was also quite good and convenient. That large pier is an excellent feature, and even had Wi-Fi out on the dock. This is probably one of the nicest places to stay on the island!

Only one complaint

Our experience here was absolutely fabulous with one exception. The unit we stayed had another unit above it. No fault of the people staying there but it sounded as if a whole football team was practicing up there and perhaps going to come through the roof. There seems to be very little insulation between the upper and lower units. Just a heads up for others that f this is the type of thing that can take a wonderful property and stay and the rn t into not such a great experience. It was annoying at times but we didn’t spend enough time in the unit for it to cause us any distress. We would definitely return!!

Slice of heaven

We had a fantastic stay at the Palmetto Beach cottage. It was very clean & had everything we needed. It was also a large spacious area! The large bottles of water were a perk. Being so close to the lovely pool & amazingly long dock was fabulous! Tim & Debbie were ALWAYS prompt with replying to any questions we had prior to our trip. We would definitely go back in a heart beat!

Great Cottage.

Overall great property .Beautifully maintained grounds. Easy communication with owners. Comfy beds. Fully stocked kitchen. Awesome dock. As stated in previous reviews, the cottage is quite dark but that also helps keep it cool during the day. The walls are a little on the thin side and unfortunately the family upstairs were heavy walkers. We downloaded sound machines on our phone to help drown out the nighttime noise. Even with that slight issue I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely Cottage

My wife and I stayed here for a week and we absolutely loved it. We felt safe and secure and had many conveniences at our fingertips. There’s a restaurant 10 steps from the front door of this cottage and extra water and Belikin (for purchase) on request! The cottage was clean and maintained and had a lot of privacy with the privacy shades you can draw down. You have to walk around the back of the cottage to get to the pool but who cares! It was fantastic and we would stay here again and again. Town is a short bike ride away and the nearest grocery store is maybe a three minute bike ride. We loved the pier with the loungers and even saw sting rays swimming around the pier our first morning. There’s a lot of Sargasssum (looks like a seaweed/algae) floating in the sea right now and it has an odor but that’s the whole island, not the fault of location or anything else. Only complaint was that it’s very close to the island airport and planes start taking off and landing a little on the early side so it will wake you. No big deal to us, though. Overall, stay here! It’s, affordable, clean and so fantastic!

Lovely haven slightly removed from main hub

The Palmetto cottage was lovely. Clean, modern, reasonably stocked with the basics. Very organized setup and conscientious communication ahead of arrival. It's a short (15min) walk to the main drag of Caye Caulker but this also makes the area a bit quieter. Would recommend.

Perfect Hidden Gem!

My wife and I stumbled across this property online looking for a place in Caye Caulker and absolutely loved it! The staff was super friendly the place has private pools and a deck out the water, beautiful grounds and even a bar and restaurant! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place!

Perfect introduction to Belize

My husband and I stayed here as our first stop in Belize. It is very close to the airport, clean, the AC is a lifesaver, and the apartment had all we could need. The pool was lovely and my husband loved the dock. Staff suggested we visit the Pelican Sunset bar and it was our favorite go to spot. Overall a great stay.

Mixed review

Property was nicely appointed but very dark. Access to pier was great. Location quiet but easy walk to restaurants and activities. Infrastructure on Caye Caulker broke down and management was not very attentive or helpful. We managed but this definitely colored our experience.

Quiet and clean

Property owner has great communication. Enjoyed our stay in this quiet area of Caye Caulker. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Only had one issue which was being stranded at the water taxi dock waiting for the promised taxi to take us to the property (management confirmed via email but did not follow through) we quickly got over it and enjoyed our vacation.

Quaint and quiet!

Loved our stay at Palmetto Beach Cottage. We stayed in the lower unit which was spacious, cool and well equipped. The bed is VERY comfortable! I would recommend for this reason only. The dock and swimming pool were great with comfortable loungers, very refreshing. The location is on the “outskirts” of town but don’t shy away for that reason. The serenity is worth it. You can get anywhere on the island in under 10 minutes on la bike, which is a fun way to explore. We loved Caye Caulker and Palmetto Beach Cottages. Ciecie is very helpful... she drove us in to town on our first night on a golf cart and recommended several places to grab supper and groceries. She also rented us our bikes.

Fantastic Time!

We had a wonderful experience staying with Michael. The place was exactly as expected, a little tight for four adults but again, as we expected. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable and you couldn’t even tell it was two twin beds pushed together. The futon in the living room was super comfortable for what it was, much better than expected. We had new towels, both bath and beach, whenever needed, and getting new water for the room was very easy. They were very accommodating to our needs. The room was also very clean when we arrived and the AC worked great. It was so nice to come back after a day in the sun to a nice cold room. We rented bikes for the entire stay and that was definitely necessary. We used them constantly to go back and forth between our room and town. This was close enough to town to be easy to get to on a bike and far enough to escape the noise and majority of other tourists. We spent a lot of our time out on the dock as the chairs were really comfy and it was easy to get in and out of the water there. We enjoyed hanging out there during the day and were happy to have a quiet place to hang out. We also went out on the dock most nights and there was security around at night. We overall really enjoyed the island and can’t wait to go back. We highly recommend checking out Wish Willy’s for dinner, this was everyone’s favorite place to eat by far. We also enjoyed Dee D’s and Belizean Flavas for dinner. For lunch we ate food from people on the street and it was always good. We took snorkel tours with Scuba Sensation, Raggamuffin Tours and Carlos. We had a great experience with all three. We will definitely be back some time in the future!

Wanna get away?

This cottage within sight of the Caribbean Sea and beach was a great location to headquarter on Caye Caulker. We did plenty of walking to shops and restaurants/bars. No cars made it relaxing, and the rum punch was even better when knowing you didn't have to drive anywhere! The people of Belize are great, and the property managers were available to tend to your every need. Do not hesitate to stay here!

The property was beautiful, safe and perfect for our 2 children and us.

We loved riding bikes, sitting on our porch in the evening, and embracing the motto of the island “go slow”. Michael, Cece and the whole staff were kind, courteous, and helpful. We can’t wait to go back and would stay at the Paletto house in a heartbeat.
