“Ok hotel. The furniture and amenities gave it a pretty basic and rustic feeling. The room was spacious, and the bed was nice. We could borrow a kayak from the hotel, and it was nice to go along the coast of the island. It is not possible to swim outside the hotel, but this seems to be the case on most of Caye Caulker. The staff arranged both pick-up and drop-off at the water taxi terminal.”

“We had an excellent stay. The facility was beautiful and the staff was very attentive. There is a type of sea weed that is creating a terrible smell on the coast, and that is definitely present, but it isn’t something that the facility itself has any control over. But just so visitors are aware there is a definite smell all over the island. But the Grand Caribe resort itself was beautiful and the facilities were very clean and comfortable.
