“Enjoyable stay on an island - but we had higher expectations. You get picked up in the harbour, works perfectly fine. The lodge was half open to nature and really fantastic. Dark wood materials, comfortable bed, shower half outdoors with nice eco friendly products. Be prepared to get some exercise while climbing up to lobby/dinner area. Dinner was average and breakfast as well. Missed "taste/flavour". The tour on the farm was nice but in the end it is all planted there and a little of everything...

“My husband and I recently stayed at Aqui Hoy for 4 nights and while it was a bit isolated, it was a relaxing and peaceful location. We had the place to ourselves, so that was lovely, but I do think that having neighbours in the adjoining cabin would have impacted on our privacy, had there been someone in the room beside us. “I want to share my experience so people can mange their expectations. The staff was polite and helpful and many things were out of their control like the weather. There was a terrible storm that got one of the beds soaking wet and there was not much they could do about it. Since it was rainy season the bed never dried and developed a foul odor. The water is not for swimming at least in my opinion, we even saw someone urinating from another deck.”
