“This was a last minute stay due just one evening to break up our drive from NC beach. Decided to take the waters at Jefferson Baths, and this inn right across the street. Unfortunately, the much-lauded restaurant is closed Mon& Tues. But had an amazing buffet breakfast the next day with hot and cold dishes from scratch! Only ding is that our room smelled a bit musty when entering. Not horrible but could probably use some neutral deodorizer. The bed was the best we've every slept in!! And we've...

“The Jackson River Estate was the perfect getaway for our 2025 Family Reunion. The estate is very spacious and provides magnificent views. There is river access but the water is cold. The pool and slide were a big hit! Cole’s Point (beach), the humpback bridge and waterfall were super close and great excursions. This location is great for families that like to be outdoors…hiking, fishing, kayaking…Check-in/out was super easy. Although we heard there might have been a bear, there was no sighting....

“We were visiting Marlinton, WV to bicycle ride the Greenbriar Trail. This house was perfect as you could ride to the trail within a few minutes. The house is also close to restaurants and a bike shop. The bed was very comfortable. The bed and bathroom linens were excellent. There is a cute kitchen with all the equipment you would need for a meal. Also chilled mugs for your beer. Overall we had a great stay and will be recommending to our friends. ”
