1926 Vintage Charm & Modern Luxury w/Lake Access - 10 min walk to Orchard Bay

Welcome to our beautifully restored 1926 cabin in the coveted Palisades neighborhood with lake access (guest pass) for you to enjoy. This historic cottage, once a loggers cabin has a certain kind of charm that will give you all the mountain feels you're looking for in a retreat. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful trees & quaint outside spaces along with a stunning stone fireplace to cozy up to. We love to use the cabin, so it feels more like "home" than a rental.

5 min walk to the lake trails, 10 min walk to Cedar Glen, 10 min drive to Lake Arrowhead Village, 10 min drive to Skypark.

Living Space: Stunning granite fireplace and comfortable sectional sofa which faces the beautiful trees. TV has all the streaming services as well as live TV. Open concept with a soaring wood trussell ceiling.

Sleeping Spaces: Downstairs bedroom w/queen bed and TV. Upstairs loft with 2 twins. Both enjoy luxury linens.

Kitchen: We love to cook so the kitchen has lots of spices and condiments for you to use along with serving pieces for entertaining.

Bathroom: We provide bodywash, shampoo & conditioner. There is a blow-dryer along with a few "oops I forgot items" available for you in the medicine cabinet.

We have AC for summer heat. We'll also get your first fire started with kindling and wood. It's a good idea to bring extra wood if you like to have fires. Always remember fire safety is of the utmost concern while in the mountains. Please be hyper vigilant about monitoring your fire. No candles are allowed but we have lots of battery operated candles to enjoy.

There is a large driveway parking for 2 cars. You'll enjoy having only one step to get into the cabin! We're so fortunate to be on a nearly flat lot.

Lake access and Lake Trails are available as our guest. You'll need to do a quick registration through the ALA via email.

We have a few indoor games, puzzles and card games for your use. We also have 2 beach chairs and beach towels, a cooler & rollup table for you to bring down to the beach. You can also find a yoga mat & block if you'd like to get zen.

We are walking distance to charming Cedar Glen where you'll find a grocer, boutiques, post office, a great local breakfast diner and a good steakhouse. Our favorite go-to is Mountain Coffee for a cup of joe and its just a short stroll through the neighborhood to get there and next to Cedar Glen. Lake Arrowhead Village is about a 5-10 minute drive or 40 minute walk on the lake trail. The mountain also has free bus service with a stop in Cedar Glen.

Skiing and snow play at Snow Valley Resort is a 25 minute drive and Skypark with lots of outdoor adventures (mountain biking, zip lining, rock climbing, skating) at Santa's Village is a 7 minute drive from the cabin. Plus Big Bear has a lot to offer up the mountain about a 30 minute drive.

PLEASE NOTE PRIOR TO BOOKING:
There is NO washer/dryer at the cabin (if you must do laundry, there is a laundromat in Cedar Glen).
There are NO blinds on the French Door Windows in living room as we prefer to see the trees - this is a very quiet street so it doesn't bother us. Please consider this prior to booking.
There is absolutely NO smoking allowed either indoors or outside.
During winter stays please make sure you have chains during the snowy weather or law enforcement will not let you up or down the mountain. Lastly, we love kiddo's but this cabin is not childproof, and there is a staircase, no gate. Please consider prior to booking.
