Nestled along Florida’s Nature Coast, Island Place Condominiums offer a serene island escape surrounded by the natural beauty of Cedar Key. Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. Guests are perfectly situated next to the city marina and just steps from local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the grocery store—no car required.

Pet Friendly:
Pets are welcome with a $50 fee per pet, per visit (maximum one pet). Pets must be approved, are not permitted on beds or furniture, may not be left unattended if barking, and must be cleaned up after outdoors. Unauthorized pets will result in a $300 charge.

Additional Information:
• Grills are park-style and located at the end of the complex. Please bring your own utensils, charcoal, grill brush, and lighter fluid.
• No boat parking is available onsite. Public boat parking is located one block east or two blocks north, behind the museum.

Got switched to this unit due to hurricane damage repair work still being done at Island Place. Fine unit, great service from Pelican Realty. Only issue was listing said the bed was a king when in fact it was a queen. Pelican refunded one night's fee as compensation, which was fine with us. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Cute little condo with a great location

Cute little condo with a great waterfront view in Cedar Key. Right in the middle of everything you’d want to do downtown. The balcony has a great view of town, the ocean, and Atsena Otie Key. The condo itself is nice, but it is quite small. Listing says it will sleep 6, but we had 4 (2 adults, a teenager, and a preteen), and we were tripping over each other. The bedroom is barely big enough to hold the king-sized bed that is in it and still have walking room around it. Washer and dryer are in the bathroom, which makes it quite a tight squeeze to get in. The top bunk bed is too close to the ceiling to be functional for anyone over the age of 7-8, and even then, I doubt they’d be able to sit upright without bumping their head. Our 11-year old opted for the sleeper sofa. The kitchen is also super tiny. Dishwasher and stove are half the size of a normal kitchen, and there is no counter space for a microwave, so it’s on top of the fridge. Only 1 person can fit in the kitchen at a time. That said, if you’re not looking to cook a full meal and you don’t mind the “tiny house” feel, it has everything you need and it really is in a great location.

Perfect getaway

From first day of reserving property managers were great. Gave suggestions around the area. When we got there we couldn't believe how great the location was. It was a last minute getaway, turned out perfect, condos were great. Location, and property owners. Fantastic!!

We enjoyed our time at Island Place. Clean, great amenities. Great view off the balcony. Short walking distance to everything - sites, shopping and restaurants! Would definitely come back!!!

Wonderful visit to Cedar Key

Second year coming to Cedar Key for spring break. The condos at Island Place are wonderful. We loved the location and the view of the Gulf from our balcony and the pool. The pool heater was a wonderful feature that we didn't know about until we arrived. We will certainly be back!

Nice, but construction within a few feet.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was very nice. Easy walking to all local restaurants and shops. However, we stayed on a weekend and there was no construction happening…..not sure how noisy it would be during the week. The bridge is within a few feet from the condo.
