âI loved the hotel decor, the historic look and feel of the hotel. I did not like having to walk from the garage to the hotel. After you park your car, you have to walk through a connecting hallway to enter the hotel courtyard. This hallway was filthy and odorous. Seeing this area as your first exposure to the hotel gave me a very negative impression of it. This garage area needs extensive renovation to improve the overall impression of the hotel. Carpet in my room was badly worn and highly visibly stained. The one real ick part of the York experience. â
âWe were impressed by the warmth, the friendliness of the front desk staff. I wish your hotel and others would have some quality channel on the television, like Netflix, Amazon, Peacock, whatever. âThe property is nice. We had a two room suite which accommodated our needs. The hotel was nice but needs a little updating which will happen at the end of the year. But I would definitely stay there again without the updating. The breakfast was delicious. â
