âOK hotel for the price. Bit run down but clean. We booked a non smoking room which unfortunately was just an ordinary room with a non-smoking sign on the door. The burn marks and smell was evidence enough. Ear plugs are recommended, especially if you get a room close to the laundry which could be, and was, used around the clock. The doors are paper thin so you can hear other guests coming and going in the corridor as well. We can recommend The Pantry a few doors down the road for breakfast as...

âTerrific location. Right next to the Rosa Parks Transportation hub. Take the Detroit People Mover just to get a feel for the downtown area. Then take the Q line to go see things. We walked down the street just to watch little league baseball and grab a beer. â
