The property is beautiful, with wonderful gardens and a very secure location. It is a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. Too bad I can only give it five stars. Everything was perfect.”

“Main issue was the parking was on the street. A busy narrow street. Front desk did help to secure a spot and later in the evening I was able to move my vehicle to right in front. To me self parking available is a lot off street. Otherwise, it is a solid 3 star property that is appropriately priced.”

“We really enjoyed our peaceful stay at the lodge! It was really special to sleep in the "tree-houses" surrounded by nature and waking up to the most beautiful view of the river! The room and the whole lodge was really clean and the mosquito nets protected us really well. All the tours we booked were a lot of fun and very interesting (Orlando gave us a lot of information), especially the hike was amazing! The pool area is really nice and all the staff were amazing and always so friendly!...

“You can fly directly to San Juan del Norte (Greytown), take a five minute boat ride to the lodge, and stay right in the middle of a 4,500 sq km bioreserve. We flew into San Carlos and took a 6-7 hour boat trip down the river to SJN. Patricia was knowledgeable, informative, and quick to respond in helping me to organize arrival and departure details. “We had an amazing stay! We loved the meals at the restaurant & the ambiance as well. Beautiful place. The staff was attentive, polite & very accommodating. We enjoyed horse rides & got massages as well. The views from the cabins are amazing! Do be prepared for mosquitoes at night. Unfortunately we are sensitive & the bugs love our blood so we left with many bug bites. Yet we would do it all over again! 💛”
