“2 minutes walk to the beach. Very clean, good room condition and easy check in and out. ”

“Pros: I enjoyed that there were a lot of common area in the property, like the pool, benches and hammocks, grill for bbq, picnic tables etc offering a family environment. Staff were friendly and helpful. Walkable distance to the beach, and also near groceries store and restaurants/fast food. Cons: Bed wasn't that comfortable and shower shifted from hot and cold randomly.”

“Lakehouse feel!! Sherwood Inn has the Best stay. My daughter and I have been coming for years now, even the receptionist Elaina knows us. We love the property, the friendly people, the Kayak and standup paddleboard and the cozy restaurant. Having my morning coffee on the dock just takes my breath away. If you want a charming and tranquil stay this is your place. ”

“Despite the room not being ready, the overall stay was great. I do understand that it was long weekend so i didnt make a fuss about waiting. Ive been at this hotel a few times and had no issues. Staff are always flawless. ”

“I travel a fair bit and this was the cleanest room I've stayed in. Ever. The room was top down spotless and the staff was lovely. Property is definitely a bit dated at the surface but that doesn't keep it from being tidy. Incredibly comfortable bed, spotless space. Multiple restaurants within 10 minute drive. Highway also within 10 minutes. Great spot if you just need a stop off or don't want you stay in Pittsburgh proper.”
