The patio had the most wonderful view. We didn’t get to eat breakfast since we had an early tour. I appreciated that they had both purified and boiled water and a lot of it for guests so we could fill our water bottles before our trek. Liz greeted us at the front desk and immediately gave us all the information we would need to know about the town. In the morning we enjoyed breakfast (fresh eggs, fruit with granola, local bread) on the rooftop dining area with the spectacular and breathtaking views of the Ollantaytambo ruins. Magical hotel that is directly at the train station.
There is no disturbance from the trains and feels like an oasis.
It’s built in colonial style and has their own organically garden, coffee roastery and alcohol distillery. The room we had was spacious and all of them are surrounded by a wonderful flower and fruit garden. Breakfast is included and offers a small buffet and also a a la carte menu with different types of egg, pancakes and French toasts.

“This was a lovely boutique hotel with a beautiful view of the river and the mountains. Very accommodating staff with a nice breakfast and good information about the town and tour options. The manager took me on a private tour of the Sacred Valley and also woke up extra early to make me breakfast before my Machu Picchu visit. There was no heat in the room but there were plenty of warm blankets to keep you comfortable. I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler and would highly recommend...
“We stayed in the hanging glass capsule. What an adventure! However, safety was top priority. Views are amazing. Property is family owned and Eddy, one of the owners, was on site as well as offered zip lining or hiking. We were greeted with local drink then dinner and breakfast were delicious. The capsule has a jacuzzi with unreal views that we took advantage of! Capsule accommodates up to 4 people and is a unique experience Highly recommend for the adventure seeker. ”
