**Chalet D’Olivier – Les Praz – Sleeps 8**
Chalet d’Olivier is an attractive four-bedroom, three-bathroom demi-chalet that sleeps up to eight guests. Located in a peaceful residential area in the village of Chamonix Les Praz, it benefits from excellent transport links nearby. The stylish open-plan living area, featuring exposed wooden beams and a log-burning stove, provides a cosy and relaxing space to enjoy alpine evenings. The modern, well-equipped kitchen opens onto a decked balcony and terrace with impressive views of the Mont Blanc range.
**The Location**
Situated in a quiet residential area of Chamonix Les Praz, Chalet d’Olivier is less than a 10-minute walk from the village centre and the new Flégère gondola, or just a 2-minute drive. The Flégère gondola provides easy access to the Chamonix Valley’s largest ski area, Brévent/Flégère, and in summer serves as the starting point for the famous Lac Blanc hike.
The picturesque village features an épicerie and a handful of popular restaurants and bars. It is also home to the Chamonix golf course and a cross-country ski track. A bus stop and train station are both just a few minutes’ walk from the chalet, offering easy access to Chamonix town centre and the other ski areas in the valley. Chamonix centre can be reached in just a 5-minute drive.
**The Details**
Spread over three floors, the open-plan living area and kitchen are located on the top floor to take full advantage of the spectacular views through large windows. The space includes comfortable sofas, a large dining table, a TV, and a log-burning stove. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, oven, stove, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and filter coffee machine.
The living area opens onto a spacious terrace with a dining table and chairs, as well as stairs leading down to the sunny garden.
On the ground floor there are three bedrooms: two set up as twin rooms and one as a double. Two of the bedrooms have direct access to the garden. This floor also features one bathroom and one shower room, both with a basin and WC.
On the lower floor, the spacious master ensuite bedroom includes a Swedish sauna, double sink, and shower. A well-equipped laundry room provides ample space for washing, drying, and storage. There is also a closed garage with space for ski or bike storage, as well as additional outdoor parking.
**What’s Included**
Self-catered bookings include linen and towels based on the standard guest configuration. If your apartment features a sofa bed and you require additional linen to accommodate maximum occupancy, a supplementary linen fee of €25 will apply.
The rate also includes end-of-stay cleaning and the local *taxe de séjour* (tourist tax), which provides access to a **Carte d’Hôtes**. This card grants complimentary use of local trains and discounts on museum admissions and other attractions.
Standard check-in is available between **4:00 PM and 8:00 PM**, with check-out required by **10:00 AM**. Please note that late arrivals may incur additional charges. If your apartment permits pets, additional fees apply. Dogs are charged at **€15 per night per dog**; however, cats are not permitted in any **Alpes Agency** apartments.
**Payment Terms and Cancellation**
To confirm the booking, a **10% deposit** of the total cost is required. In addition to the accommodation fee, a local tourist tax of **€4.60 per adult per night** will be charged.
The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card provided **30 days prior to arrival**, and you will receive an email notification beforehand.
If you cancel your booking via email up to **30 days before arrival**, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within **30 days of arrival** are non-refundable.
Please note that a **temporary damage deposit of €500** will be charged on the day of arrival and held for the duration of the stay. The deposit will be released after check-out, subject to inspection.
