Second opinion
This is a second review. I recommend this very cozy hotel with a nice atmosphere and perfect location. The only thing is that there is no lift. And I left a cake in the fridge with my name on it, but when I needed it, it was thrown away. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay.

First time in Chamonix
Charming cozy little hotel ("de charme") with perfect location in the center of Cham not far from the Brevent ski domain and the buses towards other domains. In the middle of charming streets with restaurants and shops, ski rentals, etc. Tasty breakfast which can keep you in form all day. Small room, but comfortable bed. Nice view from the window. Nice spa with sauna and jacuzzi small pool. I recommend it.

Friendly & cosy atmosphere!
Friendly and cosy style and feeling. Feels like a big living room where you are welcome to hang around in bathrobe or with your own wine and cheese in the afternoons. Small rooms, but we enjoyed our stay very much! Very good location to restaurants, shops and also the ski bus stop. Could walk to Brevent ski lift, 10 minutes uphill, but a good warm up actually. Silent during evenings and night.

Dear Mary, Thank you so much for your excellent review. We are happy that you enjoyed the family atmosphere of our hotel. Guests are indeed welcome at anytime in the living room to enjoy a glass of wine by the fireplace. You are right, going upfill to Brévent is a good warm up, but you can also take the lift down the hill, just a 5-minute walk from Le Faucigny. We hope to see you here again.

Mycket bra centralt hotell. Kändes hemtrevligt och gemytligt. Bonus med spa som var mycket bra. Personalen var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma. Sammantaget, kan varmt rekommenderas

Rekommenderar starkt!
Väldigt mysigt hotell med trevlig personal. Rummet var litet men bekvämt, rent och snyggt. God frukost och gratis eftermiddagsfika. Är väldigt nöjd med min vistelse! Kommer definitivt bo här igen om jag åker tillbaka till Chamonix.

Comfortable and friendly in great location
Small and charming hotel with fantastic staff! Very clean and comfortable with great location near the main street and short walking distance to ski bus. Downside could be the relatively small rooms but we were very happy with our choice and will definitely stay in Le Faucigny again!

Nice hotel in Chamonix
The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Chamonix. Ok distance to a busstop which is good when going skiing. The staff where really nice and the hotel has a good, personal atmosphere. One negative thing could be that the rooms are a bit small but when travelling with friends you hardly stay in the hotel. Excellent hotel for the money.

Great experience over all. The staff was very helpfull and friendly and took good care of us. Great athmosphere in the hotel and good location. The family room was practical but on the small side. We will be returning to Le Faucigny

Bra service, god frukost, fräscht och trevligt hotell med bra läge. Är måna om sina gäster och bjuder på fika efter skidåkningen. Bubbelbad och bastu i SPA-delen (ingår) är perfekt efter en dags skidor! :-)

Perfekt litet hotell mitt i Chamonix
Bodde en vecka på Hotel Le Faucigny under vår vistelse i Chamonix. Först och främst, hotellet har perfekt läge. Här är det nära till allt - liftsystemen, shoppingen och restaurangerna i stadens centrum, samtidigt ligger hotellet lite på en "bakgata" så man störs inte av utelivet på nätterna. Hotellet har dessutom utmärkt service och kommer vara mitt förstaval nästa gång jag ska till Chamonix. (PS: Enda negativa är att rummet var ganska litet, men det finns olika sorters rum så det lättaste är nog bara att ringa receptionen och fråga.)

Mkt trevlig personal
Personalen gjorde att vistelsen blev mycket bra, rummen är så men trevliga. snyggt ordnat med med det lilla exra såsom vattenflaskor i pjäxrummet. nästa gång vi reser till Cham, så väljer vi det här hotellet igen och vi har vari i Chamonix många gånger tidigare, men aldrig så nöjda med hotellet som denna gång.

Cosy, clean and nice hotel with great location!
Very nice hotel. Clean rooms and comfy beds (a bit small room for all your stuff but that´s ok!). The staff were amazing! Very welcoming and helpful with everything. (Thank you!) The location is right in the middle of everything, shopping, nightlife, restaurants, close to bus stop. Couldn´t be better! Would absolutely recommend and stay again.

Utmärkt hotel mycket fräscht. Trots att rummet var ett superior rum fanns det dock endast två takfönster. Snedtaket bergränsade röresefriheten och snedtaket i badrummet innebar att duschningen fick ske sittande.

Cozy hotel with great service and interior.
I was very happy with my stay. The personel is very friendly and helpful. The interior if the hotel is newly refreshed and very stylish. Breakfast was good. Only compliant can be little to small room and no air condition, but I'm not in Chamonix for spending my time inte hotel room :) I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend.

Favorothotell i Chamonix
Vi har bott på hotellet flera gånger. Hotellet har bytt ägare som har totalrenoverat stället. Mycket trevlig personal och bra läge! Det som var synd var heltäckninsmattan och ullgardinerna, fint men inget för allergiker. Men vi kommer säkert bo där igen!

This hotel is rundown and in need of maintenance and updating. In addition, the customer service is very poor. There was a question regarding our reservation that was made through a 3rd party site and instead of handling it with professionalism, Elias from the hotel was rude and condescending and acted as if we were trying to get out of paying while we were only trying to get clarity on the discrepancy. We have never experienced that type of treatment at a hotel and were appalled they would treat a guest in that way. The best feature about the property was the location, but we would highly recommend that you look elsewhere. Chamonix is charming, but this hotel is NOT.
