DON'T BE FOOLED! AVOID THIS PROPERTY!
I never write reviews but after my experience renting this property and my awful experience, I feel like I have no choice. I stayed at this property with my husband and 4 small children and had the worst experience I have ever had. Upon looking at other reviews I spoke with the property management company and was told that I should ignore all of the bad reviews because improvements had been made. DO NOT BE FOOLED like I was. Nothing was improved. The communication with the property management company was horrible. They never call you back. They are not available on weekends, and they have the worst customer service of any company I have EVER delt with. The house is extremely dirty, holes in the walls all over the place, the carpet is disgusting, the refrigerator was literally missing large pieces, the cupboards are falling apart. I have rented MANY other homes in champions gate, and this is god awful. Just do yourself a favor and RENT ANOTHER HOME.

"Our recent stay at this Orlando house was a letdown. It's not about being picky, but this place was just plain dirty – my wife even spotted a cockroach in the kitchen, and I discovered a dead one in the upstairs cupboard, adding to the unpleasant experience. The mattresses and pillows were lousy, giving me neck pain. Sofas were beat up, fixtures were falling apart everywhere. Dad got stuck in a bedroom with a busted door. Upstairs shower was a joke, just dribbles of water. Patio door latch was wonky, and pool heating we asked for is still a no-show after two days. We sent photos of the problems to the management company, and their response was a joke – they just said they 'took note of it' and did absolutely nothing! To top it off, we called again about the pool heating, and turns out they can't fix it because it keeps 'tripping out.' They meant to ring us but didn't. They claim there's nothing they can do about it. Seriously, save yourself the trouble and find a better place to stay."

Thanksgiving 2023 at Champions Gate
I booked this property six day and from the beginning nothing but problems. I was in contact with someone from the company and she was helpful but limited to what she could do in other word she was the MESSENGER. The property was filthy not clean at all, the linen was dirty and we had to go out and purchase new linen as well as towels which looked like someone used them to work on a car. The pool did not work properly, it was leaking water and not allowing anyone to use. Just so happen the pool guy showed up three days later and stated that he has to fill this pool up every time the house is rented so means that management knows their is an issue but continue to rent. The carpet is soiled and stained, that we had to go out and purchase cleaning material to attempt to remove some of the stains. I have a laundry list of other issues that need to be addressed. I have been renting homes for the last 15years and I have to say that this is the worst house me and my family has ever stayed in. I would not renting this home at all or rent from the company called At Home Vacation Rentals due the condition of this house. I am going to request a full refund.

Poorly kept
There’s certainly lots of potential here. Sadly the house has not been kept up with. It was very dirty when we arrived, food and other items on the floor. Back sliding door lock didn’t not latch properly. There was hair all over the shower in upstairs master. We had to wash sheets in 2 of the bedrooms before we could sleep the first night. Furniture is all torn up. Property managers not very helpful. Also for some reason this property is on a no access list for Oasis club.

Filthy house
The house is filthy, needs deep cleaning, AC is not working properly on the first floor mostly stays at 79 degrees, all the bedsheets was with stains,visibly used and Not washed, on the first floor 2 TVs and both not working, we stayed for 2 weeks and only thing was fixed is outside pool light. Whoever be staying in this house just get ready to see alot of dirty surprises.

Great location, plenty of room
Overall we enjoyed staying here and would do it again. There were a few things to say negatively but were not anything more than minor annoyances. There were no batteries in the remotes to the tvs. We were not able to get the tvs in either living room or upstairs den area to work as far as cable goes so bring you a roku stick or something. We stayed busy either at disney or in the pool to care and everyone had tablets or phones so it wasnt a huge deal for us. My husband and I both almost slip in the shower of the downstairs master bedroom because the floor of the shower was uneven and didnt have any antislip stickers or anything. We couldnt take our own cooler and snacks to the oasis club which was also a little annoying. Parking is snug for 3 or more vehicles. There are some minor cosmetics of the house that could be worked on but considering its use is for families with kids its not to be unexpected but i think the most interesting was the faucet to the kitchen sink was literally rigged up with a shopping bag handle attached to the window seal. There were some stains on the carpets, scuffs on the walls and wear and tear on the chairs and the pool table but as I said all little minor details as long as I dont get charged for them. I took pictures before the rest of the group got there. There were 10 of us (7 adults and 3 children) and there was plenty of room for all of us. Overall we were happy and had a great time! I would recommend this place and love to stay again.

Family getaway
It was a good stay. With a home this size. There was no wash cloths, only 2 towels per bathroom. If the house sleeps 12. I think that you should supply equal amount of towels to suit the number of people in the house. I couple of stains in the carpet. But overall a good stay.

Total experience horrible, blood stains in the mattress, pool and jacuzzi nasty with dead smell. Sofas ripped open and torn badly, my stay was the worst ever and it was my bday weekend. Please don’t rent from here

Appalling property and rental company please don’t stay here
Well what I can I say there is no positives to this review. We arrived into this house on Thursday 27th April (pm) and was forced to find alternate accommodation on Sunday 30th April emailed the vacation company on Thursday 27th phoned on Friday 28th April and have had no communication since and we were there until the 18th May the problems with the house are endless (cracked tiles big enough for my toddler to put his toes in, broken leg on sofa couldn’t use,living room mat stained like a map of the world,tap broke on sink so hard to get water out, ants in shower hole was covered up but not fixed right,ant hills all over pool area with hundreds of red ants also in pool water and bottom of the pool,netting on pool area broke letting in lizards bugs etc, bed linen was unusable had to buy our own at Walmart, whole place disgusting, mould in oven and the final straw was cockroaches in the living/ kitchen area all reported and no help we will be seeking advice when we get home. Wouldn’t even give it a 1 star review. Currently we are travelling home today and have had no contact from the at home vacations and have been in contact VRBO to deal with this please please save your money and don’t stay here I’m out of pocket for 2 houses at the minute and this shouldn’t have to happen on your holiday you have worked hard for all year

Almost Good
Golf Trip, House is very typical of all the houses in this area. We picked on location and it had all full size beds. House needs love… very very obvious it’s a weekly rental. Needs carpet, paint, general attention. pool was clean but a foot low on water. No hand towels face clothes and the bath towels were very cheap quality. Wasn’t a horrible stay, spacious and good location. Needs someone to pay attention to it and charge a smidge more for quality.

Okay for our daughters college softball
The rooms were good for the five families staying. We did wash all of the linens before sleeping. We tried to contact the hosts several times about a package and concerns about the hot tub jets that didn’t work for our group. Every thing else was fine except for the palmetto bugs which scared the crap out of me! I would have liked a conversation when I reached out…but everything went to voicemail that wasn’t set up. Just a conversation would have made a difference.

the house is spacious but there are some things that could be improved ex: the mattresses are uncomfortable the one in the suite is dirty without a protective cover we went to stay 9 nights the last few nights some preferred the sofa because it was more comfortable!!! the towels are too few for the number of guests and look old and dirty… snooker doesn't work

Labour Day weekend 2022
Very sizeable modern house. Our booking coincided with labour day weekend so neighbouring houses were full and noisy but not the houses fault. House is obviously popular and could do with some maintenance but overall very happy

Extremely disappointed
As stayed in emails to VRBO we had no option but to leave the property after only spending two nights there as it was so disgusting. We couldn’t bear to sleep another night in those filthy beds. We emailed the host the day we arrived and called them the day after we arrived and we were told that the property could be cleaned or we could look to move. We were assured that a manager would call us back to discuss this but we heard nothing. As a manager hadn’t been in touch with us to discuss our options, we were left with no option but to move as it was so disgusting. We have so many images of how bad it was. There was even poo on the outside of one of the toilets!! We are thousands of dollars out of pocket because we had no choice but to move into a hotel. We would like the cost of the villa refunded to my account as soon as possible.

Nice Place
Property was very clean, as well as the pool. Had issues with check in as gate security stated I never submitted the guest list. I informed security I submitted the list already and gate security stated “you’ll have to call them, they are really bad about getting us the list.” The WiFi was really bad. We had to reset it a few times to get it working. A cockroach also crawled out of a bathroom sink.

Good Stay/ Bad House
Before you judge me please know I am not a Karen and hardly ever complain about anything. I will definitely say that communication with At Home Vacation Rentals was great and they did everything they could to help us and fix any issues with our stay, however messaging through the VRBO app was the best type of communication instead of calling. This was my families second time staying in Champions Gate, and we thoroughly enjoy the area. However, this house definitely has its problems. Approximately three hours before we arrived, I received a phone call from someone at AHVR saying the air conditioning was not working properly, and they were getting it fixed. When we arrived on Saturday 2/19 the downstairs air did not work at all, and the upstairs air was working fine. We had someone come on Monday to look at the downstairs air. That was fixed. That evening the upstairs air would not shut off. AHVR says the air must be at 71-72° We had the thermostat set at 72°. In the middle of the night, every single night the air got down to 61°. We had someone come back out to look at the air upstairs. The whole stay the upstairs air continued to drop to 61-62°. We just started to deal with it and turn the air off at night. We also had a problem with the pool heater not working in the middle of our stay, and lost 2 days of our kids playing in the pool. Also, the sink/ garbage disposal/ dishwasher leaks bad. Other than that, we had a pretty decent stay, and will definitely be returning, however not to that house.

This property is FALSELY ADVERTISED!!!
Listing is FAR from accurate and not as the listing depicts. Walls were damaged and had black marks and dirt all over them. Floors we’re dirty and the Carpets turned your socks black. Beds saggy and heavily used. Pool table had crumbs from previous guests all over it. We had a confirmed party of 10 and were only left 6 towels. Baseboards were coated with dust. When we attempted to contact property management about our concerns, our contact with them went ignored. They came to fix a refrigerator light that was burned out but they made no mention of our request for more towels. We had to wait until our third day to get more towels. The listing said you could heat the pool and hot tub for $30+ dollars a night but failed to mention there is a minimum 3 night charge. There is a grill provided however, that also has a hidden charge. When we arrived, there was a wet blanket left in the washing machine and the dryer was venting into the laundry room. Overall, we regret choosing this home to stay with our family. There was NOTHING new about this place. We feel it was falsely advertised.

We take cleaning very seriously and always offer cleaners to go again if requested, even when the home was cleaned inspected, as we could see in our cleaning reports with many and many pictures attached. Overall just ok!!
I stayed here for 8 days paid for pool heat and 4 out of the 8 days I had to call the office because something was wrong with the pool/hot tub. Yes the guy came out but REALLY 4 days I feel like half of my money should be refunded. The last day he was supposed to come back and never did so that day we couldn't even use the pool or hot tub because it wouldn't heat up. I had to go buy towels and washcloths called the office for that was told they would be dropped off....well the NEXT evening is when we got them. Pool stick were broken had to call about that as well. Clearly no walk through was done before we checked in. I've been staying in the development for about 12yrs and never had this experience!!!

Family Vacation
Our family took a trip to Disney and found this home with more then enough space . The heated pool was a great plus! There could be some fresh paint and there are small holes that could be patched up just to add a cleaner look. I did think there were a few small things that could have been provided such as a couple dishwasher pods and trash bags but other than that the stay was great. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Thanksgiving Family Getaway
House is large and fit our family well. Overall our trip was really good. We had a couple of issues with the pool and coffee maker but they were fixed within a couple of hours. They were very responsive. The house needs to be painted inside but wear and tear is expected. The stairs carpet also need to be cleaned but other than that the house was in really good shape and accommodated us well. There was a problem again on the last full day with the pool and hot tub which needed to be looked at but we could not get anyone there before we left. Overall it was a great vacation and we would look to stay there again if we head back to Orlando for another family get together.

Spacious house just a bit worn.
Big and beautiful house. The pool area was beautiful, the kids loved it. We decided to heat the pool after the second day and the managers promptly put it on. House was clean, but the carpet was stained and worn. Bed linens are a bit faded which made it seem old. Lots of scruff marks on the walls, but that is to be expected for a rental house. Must keep all food sealed up or ants will come in the kitchen. Some ants upstairs as well. I am pretty sure ants are a big problem for every household in the area. Great location but there is some traffic getting to the highway (4). Would stay in this area again.

Roomy house that has been well loved
We just returned from our stay at this property. It is a clean house from a cleaning standpoint. However there are markings on several of the walls needing updated paint, the carpet is stained throughout the house. We had several bouts of ants in the house which may just be normal with Florida climate. The pool heat was excellent. It was roomy and worked well for my family of 5 on our Disney vacation. There weren’t any dishwasher pods, laundry pods or garbage bags provided and only one bar of soap/toilet paper so be mindful to bring those things with you. The access to the clubhouse waterpark was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property however we would not classify it as brand new.

Nice, just a few issues
Our 4 night stay was nice , the only negatives were not enough towels, propane tank for BBQ both empty, had to go exchange one for $22.00. The carpet needs a cleaning desperately, & One yes one extra garbage bag was left in kitchen for 4 nights.... really????? With all the extra charges that are paid, one should have these issues taken care of. Overall we had a great time. Hope the next group of guests experience an even better stay because of my review.

Walls are repainted and carpet redone yearly, towels can be replaced if needed, you just had to call our 24/7 team. We provided the BBQ Grill Rental as a courtesy, all you had to do was to fill the gas tank if needed. It is usually $100/week. As advertised and stated in the Agreement, the property does have the standard basic kit, which includes soap, shampoo, extra bag, etc. as you have stated. COVID changed our plans
We were supposed to have my fiancé‘s family stay at the house while we got married that weekend. Unfortunately, due to Covid… No one stood at the house other than my now wife and myself. Our intentions was to stay in the downstairs bedroom. The bed however, was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. However, the upstairs master bedroom had a very comfortable bed. So that’s where we ended up staying. This was our first time renting a home so we really didn’t know what to expect or what should be documented. The walls are white but there is a lot of dirt and grime on many of the walls. Just looks like lots of hand prints probably throughout the years. Pool table was a wonderful idea but the cues have no tip and there’s no chalk in sight. The enclosed pool was perfect. Overall, The place was clean. It was disappointing that the coffee maker did not work. There were some holes in some walls and that was a concern to us because we didn’t want to be accused of anything so we took some pictures to be safe. One big negative to the neighborhood is that the streets are very tiny and people seem to be careless with parking so it is very difficult to navigate through to the home. I will say though… That could’ve been because it was a holiday weekend. The positives of staying here was so many. For starters the owners were very gracious every time they communicated with us. The management team was extremely accommodating. If they happen to miss our phone call they called us right back. Because it was a holiday weekend, there was a lot of ruckus all around us in particular to the house to the right that was blaring music at 11 PM. When I contacted the management company they gave me the phone number to the local security office but it was unnecessary… By then, security had already stepped in and there was not a peep heard the rest of the evening. I would definitely rent this house again just… Not on a holiday weekend ever. And we would pretend that the downstairs bedroom did not exist. Another plus is there’s plenty of restaurants nearby.

Great time!!!!
We came for a family and close friends reunion and had a blast!! This is a luxury house, very nice kitchen and patio area. We were close to the clubhouse where there are a lot of amenities and activities. Amazing experience!

5 ⭐️ Beautiful home, 24/7 team & no rats
We have rented multiple times with At Home had such an amazing trip! Reading through other reviews I think people don’t understand that there will be animals outside, it is florida we are talking about! There were no rats, the home was clean and their team was very attentive and caring, shoutout to Cesar and Reggie! The home is big, modern and we enjoyed pool heating. Will definitely be back!

Nice home but...
I truly enjoyed my stay but just a few house keeping details. We found dirty sock in two of the rooms, we had to buy some toilet paper, dish washing liquid, paper towels and garbage bags. No I didn't call because we had to go to Walmart any way. But I would not mind staying there again if I ever go back to Florida.

Gorgeous and Comfy!
This house was gorgeous and super comfortable for our large group to stay in and not have any space issues. Property was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. There were no issues coming into the neighborhood even though we arrived in separate cars at different times. Would most definitely stay at this property again and recommend to others.

Property needs upgrading
No dishwasher!!! and we were not notified even though they were aware before we arrived. Overall the property is beautiful as pictured but it needs an Upgrade of appliances, Fixtures, lamps, Cookware and plaster. Many things are weAr and tear from guests not taking care of anything eg ripping furniture, dRopping stuff on the carpet and not cleaning it up. No rats seen just a few mouse droppings. All calls were answered and most concerns were addressed. Im still waiting for call back now to address final concerns.

There is definitely a rat or mice
Avoid this house if you can. We have stayed in Orlando and in this kind of property 4 times and the past 4 years for about the same price so hopefully you can find a different rental. Yes the communication with management was fast until we mentioned a rat eating through our bananas, avocado and bag of chips every night while we were there. And we did try to hide food at night in the pantry, fridge and microwave as much as we could. On the third night we found rat poop in the pantry. The house needs attention like a paint job, some repairs and carpet cleaning, more towels and small repairs and more patio furniture. Did we enjoy our stay? Yes but you can definitely find better and without mice for a similar price.

Our stay outside of property was good but there was a rat in the property.
Though we enjoyed our time. There was a rat in the house that ate through our food. Also rat dropping was everywhere. No one would respond to the complaint. We like to be compensate for the inconvenience. Because I didn't expect this. We don't know what disease these things carry!!!! We don't want to take this past this point!
