Huset ligger i den gamla venetianska hamnen i Chania med fantastisk utsikt från balkongen, 20 meter från vattnet och 5 minuter från affärscentrumet. I området hittar du många restauranger, tavernor, barer och historiska platser. Det har privat parkering, även om en bil inte är nödvändig, bara om du vill utforska ön.

Renoverat och fullt utrustat med direkt tillgång till den gamla venetianska hamnen i Chania. Maisonette har 3 sovrum och 1 badrum på andra våningen, 2 med dubbelsäng och 1 med 2 enkelsängar och rymmer upp till 6 personer plus en extra person vid behov i soffan nere i vardagsrummet. Alla sovrumsmöbler, madrasser och linne är nya. Alla rum har luftkonditionering och 32 "TV. Utsikten över de främre sovrummen i den gamla hamnen kommer att glädja dig.

Köket, med sina nya elektriska apparater, loungen och en liten toalett, ligger på första våningen med en balkong som låter dig dricka ditt kaffe med utsikt över fiskebåtarna och den venetianska muren. Huset har gratis Wi-Fi och en av de få privata parkeringsplatserna i gamla stan. Den berömda kaffebaren "Två Lux" ligger precis nedan för att njuta av ditt kaffe tidigt på morgonen och din drink till sent på kvällen.

Everything was good. Apartment was clean, nice view from the terrace close to shops and restaurants. Two things travelers need to know 2 flights up to the apartment and restaurant / bar below below on the street level. Music was audible ( mostly base sound) But with earplugs all was good

Our stay here was absolutely exceptional. The accommodations were top-notch, and the location far exceeded our expectations — truly a hidden gem! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.The property is perfectly situated within easy walking distance to beautiful beaches, charming restaurants, and the vibrant town of Chania. The views from the terrace in the evening were simply breathtaking — a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.Lia, our host, was outstanding. She went above and beyond by arranging both our airport pickup and drop-off, making our arrival and departure seamless. What truly made our stay special, though, were the thoughtful touches: a bottle of wine to welcome us, a bowl of fresh fruit, and a few breakfast essentials waiting in the fridge. These small gestures, combined with the spotless cleanliness, excellent air conditioning, and unbeatable location, truly set this place apart.Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality!

Casa Ithomi

Excellent. We are family with four kids, and we were very comfortable. The apartment was spacious, clean and so thoughtfully equipped. Kitchen had everything we could possibly need, plenty of towels, even a beach caddy and beach toys were there for us. Location is prime time. Lia met us there and was a great communicator. Highly recommend and I’m sure we will be back.

Perfect location!

Such a great location with a great parking spot. It was the perfect spot for us to explore Chania! We found the place to be perfect for us - it has some unique characteristics (like the very small bathroom on the main floor) but we found it added to the character of the place. We found the place very quiet and were not at all disturbed by being in the heart of a nightlife area. Lia was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely return:)

Perfect in every way!

I cannot think if a single way in which Casa Ithomi can be improved upon. The accomodation is superb, not only luxurious and with every possible convenience but with added value by way of coffee, tea, basic food requirements, complimentary ice cream, shampoo, conditioner etc. Additionally Lia provides many additional services, including sending my walking stick on to our bext destination by bus, of her own volition, when I had left it behind! Her introduction to the apartment was the most comprehensive I have ever experienced. Certainly, there is noise from the cafes below but this is a price you pay for the position overlooking the harbour, which is a tourist hotspot. Nevertheless, with the windows closed and the AC on, you could as easily be in the countyside as far as interupted sleep goes.

Perfect Port Location

Casa Ithomi: A Gem in Chania We had an amazing stay at Casa Ithomi! The home is beautiful and comfortable, with everything you could hope for. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the old Venetian harbor, surrounded by charming shops and delicious restaurants. Lia, our host, was incredibly kind and gracious. She recommended the best local restaurants and excursions, and even had some snacks and a bottle of wine waiting for us. The check-in process was smooth and easy, thanks to her warm hospitality. This location exceeded our expectations as did our super host, Lia. The apartment is extremely well appointed and situated just a few steps from the Old Harbor. We were fortunate to be there to celebrate the Greek Orthodox Easter. Our super host, Lia helped us with dinner suggestions, sight seeing, and just general knowledge of the area. I will return and stay here again!

Schöne Wohnung in hervorragender Lage mit Blick aufs Meer

Die renovierte Ferienwohnung befindet sich im zweiten Stock und dehnt sich über zwei Etagen aus. Im Erdgeschoss großzügiger Wohn/Essbereich, vollausgestattete Küche mit Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler, viel Geschirr und Gläser. Zwei Balkone, einer davon mit Blick auf den Hafen und das Meer. Im ersten Stock drei Schlafzimmer, zwei mit Schrank, eines ohne. Sehr bequeme Betten. Modernes Badezimmer mit barrierefreier Dusche. Lia ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin und war jederzeit erreichbar. Im Erdgeschoss des Gebäudes befindet sich ein angesagter Club, in dem am Wochenende bis spät nachts laute Musik gespielt wird. Die Wohnung befindet sich halt mitten in der sehr belebten Altstadt....

Great location, wonderful host

I just loved our stay in Chania. This home is wonderful. The apartment has all the amenities you could want. Lia is an amazing host who is available for all your questions and is extremely helpful. The terrace has a lovely view and I enjoyed sipping my coffee(provided by my host) overlooking the old port. Sunsets were amazing!!!! The fridge has basic necessities already stocked, the beds are comfortable and there was a small library. I really enjoyed reading 'It's All Greek to Me' during my stay. There are many terrific restaurants just below on street level, there is a great weekend food market just steps away and of course, loads of shopping. A huge plus was the free parking spot! I have just one word of warning: if you like to sleep with the windows open be prepared for a lot of noise. For me, I just closed the windows and turned on the air conditioner and it was completely quiet. Thank you Lia for a delightful holiday!

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay. Unfortunately our trip was cut a few days short due to Coronavirus closing everything. The location is perfect just steps away from great restaurants. Home was everything promised. We stayed 3 weeks and did not have a car. Easy walk to downtown and old town. Lia was a wonderful host with quick response when we needed anything. Hoping to stay here again. Praying the Coronavirus gets under control and doesn’t leave this area and its businesses having huge issues. This was by far our favorite vacation destination ever!
