Home with Terrace in Heart of old Town of Chania

A classic 2 bedroom apartment in a beautiful Neoclassical building , right at the heart of the Old Town of Chania and the Venetian port with its cobblestone romantic narrow alleys. Fully equipped, with fast WIFI, bathroom, large terrace offering great view towards the old Market of Chania and the Minaret, both on pedestrian streets. Recommended for people who want to experience the authentic vibrant life of the old Town of Chania.

Our space is a fully equipped home in a traditional building of the old Venetian Town of Chania, offering absolute comfort and great authentic atmosphere, able to accommodate up to 7 people in 114m2 of interior space and 20m2 of terrace and balconies. Our home features direct views and access to the iconic and vibrant steet of Ntaliani with its numerous cobblestone alleys and the iconic minaret tower but also towards the old Municipal Market of Chania, a landmark of the city.

Flat is divided into two floors. On top floor you will find a double-bed bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed and a single bed, a large terrace (equipped with an umbrella) offering a great view. Perfect spot for your afternoon siestas and moments of relaxation.

On the lower floor, there is another bedroom with one double bed, a single bed, a small balcony offering direct views of Ntaliani pedestrian street and the Minaret. Also a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen is available on the same level.

All beds provide quality mattress Toppers.

We are located at the beating heart of the old town of Chania, in one of the most iconic streets of the city. Right on your doorstep, you will find numerous cafes and restaurants, bars and brunch shops, offering great quality at competitive prices.

Αll around you, there are locations that locals prefer to visit. You will have the chance to be emerged in another era of Venetian merchants and Turkish Imams, wandering around the narrow alleys, fully covered under the scent of Jasmine and Bougainvillea.

In seconds you will wander around the narrow alleys of the old town, meet locals and people of the area, find out about our history and multicultural heritage, find great restaurants or cafes to sit by the port into secret narrow alleys! We are seconds away from the Old Market, the Venetian harbor and lighthouse and also at a very short walking distance from the central bus station.

The municipal old market is the perfect spot for your local product shopping like honey and cheese, various vegetables, fresh meat and fish but also for just walking around and experiencing the everyday life of the city.

Just some steps from home you will find everything you may need for the duration of your stay. There are bakeries, supermarkets, grocery stores, butchers, pharmacies, a large health center, restaurants and cafes.

Please note that the lower floor bedroom is near the pedestrian street of Ntaliani. Nevertheless, double glazed windows are fitted for this purpose.

*Please be aware that our rates exclude an additional stayover tax. For stays from April to October, the tax is €15 per night, while from November to March, it is €4 per night. This tax applies to all bookings starting January 1st, 2024. Guests are required to pay this additional tax directly to the check-in assistant who will be responsible for key handover upon arrival.

Great location for Chania old town. Close to a good selection of restaurants. 30 min walk to the new archaeological museum.Very pleasant and quiet terrace which we had breakfast on every day. There is one toilet which is in the one bathroom.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property is gorgeous with beautiful floor tiles and hihh ceilings. The roof terrace is very spacious and we loved sitting on the balcony in the evenings watching the actions of the bars and restaurants below.

We had a wonderful stay in the old town apartment. The location was perfect for us! 10 out of 10 for everything. The pictures do not do justice to this fantastic space. We really felt like we were truly living the Chania city life. Others have posted about the noise from the street level, but for us it was the energy and liveliness of being a part a city and old town. We would sit on the patio in the evening after dinner and enjoy still being a part of the milieu of diners down below. As for the sounds, we just put in earplugs and continued to have restful sleeps. The amenities were appreciated with some laundry soap to do our washing, as we were in the middle of our holiday. Not to be missed is the coffee shop down the street, spending time with the owner of the football museum nearby and the charming walk to the beach for sun and swimming. The food options are abundant on the street below. We had two exceptional meals at a couple restaurants on the strip. You will not go hungry! The upper level of the apartment is sun filled and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing on the upper terrace, listening to the sounds of the city and even fireworks one evening for a wedding celebration at midnight! Do not hesitate to stay here. It is in a perfect location for bus tour pick up (Agora bus stop), romantic nights and family vacation joy! We felt safe here and Elanna was exceptional at keeping communication and ensuring our care for the duration of our stay. Thank you again!

Nice place to be

The flat is super with everything you need. We loved the terasse. Located in the middle of old town. With a lot of restaurants the street is very noisy in the evening and night.

We absolutely loved our stay. It was literally just as pictured. We were able to have friend who were in chania over on the top patio for food and drink. Location is phenomenal. We can’t wait to be back!!

Loved, Loved, Loved this apartment!!!

Eleanna met us at the apartment and helped get us settled in. It was late and we were very tired. She recognized our exhaustion and carefully explained everything we needed to know. The apartment and rooftop terrace were even better in person than in the photos. The location was fantastic! It was close to everything. The double windows kept out the noise from the restaurant downstairs. I would have loved to stay longer.

Wonderful apartment, great location, some flaws

The apartment is located in the old town, but on the edge of it, so it's the best of both worlds: the street has lots of bars and restaurants, and the old harbour is only a few minutes by foot away - but on the other hand also supermarkets are nearby in the "new" part of the town. Apartment is very nicely fitted out and decorated, bathroom is great, beds are comfy, kitchen well equipped and cosy. However, as the apartment has obviously been renovated recently (it is all very nice and fresh looking), there is a distinct smell of new paint (April 2023) that will in all likelihood take some time to wear off. Also, as behind the apartment, there is a big building site/renovation site, there was a lot of dust on the rooftop terrace. When we asked for someone to be sent over to clean the terrace, they told us this would cost 50 euros extra - quite irritating.
