“The hosts are excellent people, great communicators who want VBRO guests to have an outstanding experience. Chappy is a wonderful retreat from the rest of the world. That is my only word of caution, it requires a ferry to eat out or shop. Otherwise this is a great place to read write meditate beach and let go of everyday worries. It has a higher price tag because your paying for a premium location, guest service experience and higher quality accomodation.”

“The outside decks are great, and the beach really is a 10-15 min walk away. If you rent your self a bike you’ll be able to go wherever you like. Would definitely stay again.”

We hiked several miles on the beautiful trails. Van's Butterfly Cottage is cozy, immaculate, and has a calming decor. Van is a very attentive and superb host. Thank you, Van! ”

“The house is well maintained. Check-in was very easy. The house is located in the woods in a bit of a labyrinth of small roads. The kitchen facilities were great. Craig had recently purchased a new set of pots and pans that were in excellent condition. Craig was extremely helpful and welcoming. Everything functioned well from the stove to the bathroom. ”
