James Island Airstream- Between Downtown & Folly Beach. Creekside Glamping!

  • Our recently renovated vintage 1976 Airstream Land Yacht is a cozy Glamper that has everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. Nestled next to our creek, you'll see water fowl galore while sipping your morning coffee in our outdoor seating area. Just 15 minutes to Folly Beach & 6 minutes to Downtown Charleston, we are in an ideal location for a fun Charleston getaway.

    This cozy airstream can sleep four, but really is best for just two adults and two children, or two adults.

    The entire airstream is for your use, as well as the outside sitting area on the front deck. The rest of the backyard is shared with our other guests from two other units. Please enjoy the picnic table, hot tub, grill and fire pit!

    The Airstream is equipped with an AC unit to keep you cool in the summer, and a heater to keep you warm in the winter.

    We live locally if you need anything or have any questions.

    The cleaning fee is based on a "courteous guest". Any excessive dirtiness or neglect will accrue an additional $95 fee

Just what my little family needed to be quickly immersed into vaca mode. Lots of thought was put into this sweet airstream it had all the things we needed to be comfortable and to feel welcome. I especially appreciated how clean everything. We’ll be booking with Sarah in our future stays when we come to Charleston.

We absolutely loved our stay! The Airstream was spotless, cozy, and such a unique place to unwind. Nestled right by the creek, it was incredibly peaceful, quiet, and felt very safe throughout our stay.The property had everything we could have asked for: kayaks for exploring, swings to relax in, a fire pit for evenings under the stars, and a hot tub that was the perfect way to end each day. It truly felt like a private little retreat.One of the best parts was the location. It was convenient to all of the nearby beaches while still offering a secluded escape from the crowds. We made so many wonderful memories here and would absolutely stay again. If you're looking for a relaxing, unique getaway near Charleston, this is the place!

Loved staying here, super close to downtown Charleston. Host were great and were extremely easy to communicate with probably the best experience with a host a ever. Highly recommend and I loved the chickens.

I had such a great stay in this charming Airstream on James Island! Sarah was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and clearly thoughtful about every detail of the experience.I was in the area visiting family, and this ended up being the perfect little retreat. It truly felt like a peaceful escape, not like you’re right in the middle of a busy Charleston area, thanks to the beautiful, natural surroundings.I especially loved the campfire and hot tub—both were such a relaxing bonus at the end of the day. The kayaks are an awesome touch as well, even though we didn’t get a chance to use them this time.One of my favorite parts was just sitting with my coffee in the morning, watching the geese glide by on the water. It was quiet, scenic, and exactly what I needed.Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for something unique, cozy, and just a little removed from the hustle while still being close to everything.

Cozy Airstream

This Airstream was an adorable stay along the river and close to restaurants. The backyard was beautiful, and the hot tub was a great bonus. I had a lot of fun petting the cat and dogs, making it an overall wonderful experience.

What A Sweet Experience!

Short trip to the beach for granddaughters birthday, obsessed with Outerbanks. The Airstream was comfortable, clean and stocked. They enjoyed the hot tub as well. Highly recommend!

Place was clean and absolutely adorable! I absolutely loved the chickens in the back yard, and the fact that you left some of the fresh eggs to use in the fridge. Thank you so so much!

Girls Trip Annual Vacation

We had a fabulous time on our very first ‘glamping’ trip! The airstream was clean, and we enjoyed the candy treats, popcorn and fresh farm eggs left for us! It was the perfect location to enjoy downtown Charleston, as well as nearby islands and beach towns! The owners were great in their communication with us before, during and after our stay! Thank you for a memorable time!

I booked this spot on a whim and never knew it was in someone’s backyard. That’s always a red flag for me and we’ve never done it before. This changed EVERYTHING. we had the BEST time in this cute little spot and would have thought the whole garden, river, walkways was all ours to ourself. The inside is cute and quaint- what you’d expect with a camper but also felt roomy and homey. We had one minor issue with septic tank the three days we stayed here and it was literally fixed within minutes by the host. People’s leftover condiments also came in hand. If you’re thinking of booking this spot- DO IT!!!! So close to everything Charleston too. We only drove more than 20 min one time and that was to go to cypress gardens. 10/10 recommend. :)

Perfect Spot

Cozy stay for our family. Our teen daughter enjoyed her own space at the back of airstream to read and see some creek views in the morning. My husband and I loved our coffee with some scenic views of wood ducks floating in back. This space was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our quick trip. It is perfectly located to downtown and Folly. Would definitely recommend!
