I stayed here the night before the eclipse, and because they knew people wanted to leave early the next day to beat the eclipse traffic, they moved up the start of breakfast (poached eggs and bacon hash, yum!) an hour. “Amazing place to stay for our Girl Scout ski trip! We rented the cottage which sleeps 12 and had two large, comfy rooms for adults plus large family room and new built in beds off family room for the girls. Well appointed modernized rooms while still retaining an authentic Inn feeling. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast buffet, especially the French Toast. “SUCH a lovely, cozy stay in this beautiful VT town. Could not recommend more highly!”

“At first it was difficult to get in touch with the owners, as the number listed on some sights is the older number. Once I did they were wonderful. They took their time to think of everything to make your stay comfortable. So many little details! The town is so lovely - old victorian style and the house is walkable to a few restaurants. Great to have a mini kitchen available to use, with a big fridge to store items, while also a mini fridge in the room. Look forward to staying here again next...

“We had a fantastic time staying in the Chester House. It was a short drive to Okemo Mountain, which was our main reason for booking, but the town of Chester, like the room we stayed in, was incredibly charming!”

“We stayed in the 8-room converted barn. The room very large and a pleasant surprise featuring a great view, soaking tub in the living area, gas fireplace, and a very comfortable king bed. I would give Windham Hill Inn five stars, but I deducted a star because of a clogged bathroom sink, a difficult to control HVAC system, and live and dead bugs in the room. Although somewhat dated, the room was spectacular for the price. ”

“We spent 5 nights at the Rosewood Country Inn during October 2023. I've stayed at Inns and B&Bs all over North America and Europe. The Rosewood rates in the top 5 of all of those. Odo and Stan were attentive hosts and provided excellent and tasty breakfast meals with a wide variety of flavors. I would recommend the Rosewood to anyone looking for a wonderful and quiet place to stay in New Hampshire.”

“Communication with owners was amazing. Heather was a great respondent and communicator. We were able to get three generations under one roof for a quiet and relaxing family getaway. We shared old stories around the fireplace and played cards late into the night (which is ten thirty pm, for us).
