Not the best stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had some big blips during this stay. AC went out for a day, many electrical sockets didn't work, light in shower didn't work, and the patio was filthy ( although they cleaned it up). Inside was very clean however.

Perfect downtown location for the apple festival. Easy check in. Unit and building is a little dated but clean and everything we needed for the weekend. So still a 5 star stay.

Great location near downtown

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really nice unit- we thought it was better in person than it looked in the photos. Considering sanitizing the handrail and light switches- they are highly used and get grubby quickly. Staircases in the common areas are a bit creaky and shaky. Good beds, fair showers. Nice to have a full kitchenette.

Gorgeous room!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a last minute reservation and we didn't get to the room til late but still enjoyed it until my fiance cut his toe on a nail sticking out of a piece of trim. No one around that late to get a bandaid from so I wasted a lot of paper towel bandaging him up.

The property location was very ideal! We felt that if it was a one hundred fifty a night it would have been 4 star but at five hundred a night we felt that it fell short of upkeep and cleanliness. Pictures were a little misleading making it look nicer than it really was. The staff wasn't knowledgeable about the pool depth which I feel is something they should know since it was not marked on or by the pool. Overall for the reasons listed above we would give it a 2 star.

Move on to something better.

This property had some lower scores, so I can not say I wasn’t warned. Amenities section is a complete scam. Check in is at 4:00p, pool closed at 4:45p. Our unit had no hot water for the first day…there goes “in room jacuzzi”, or even a nice shower, for that matter. When I called our emergency number, she said that it was too late for her to come help. There was a lot of air in the pipes, so lots of noise just to wash our hands. It felt like the Motel 6 of Charlevoix. Gross. Just move on…there are better listings, and the $50 you save on this is not worth it.

Great July trip!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our trip to Charlevoix. The location here is great...we loved sitting on the balcony and watching the bridge. Saying easy walk to town doesn't do justice. This is just far enough from the main part of town that noise wasn't an issue. Other guests noted the decor in this looks like it does in the pictures and worked great for us. Staff is so friendly!!!

Living Large in Charlevoix

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a last-minute getaway in August for my daughter and I, and it served our needs perfectly. The condo was large, with a full bedroom and bath in an upstairs loft, another downstairs, and a terrace with chairs and table. Although the furnishings are dated, we had everything we needed and wanted -- especially a by-the-drawbridge location within steps of shops, restaurants and the beach. Note to owner: The unit's appeal could be easily enhanced with new bedspreads and linens and a few updated touches.

Wouldn't come back, just ok

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pretty outdated all around and some things are in need of replacing or repair. The mattress upstairs and pullout bed were awful. The outside pool and room patios clearly don't get much attention from the cleaning personnel. I know everyone is short on staff these days but the few people I did see cleaning looked like the do enough to not get fired approach and it shows in the room we had. We showed up a little early hoping to get into our room but of course it wasn't done. We came back at 4 and they said they should be done by the time we finish with the check in..... For the money we paid on a Sunday night I definitely expected better. Maybe other rooms are better but I think this place is living off the location....or maybe I should just expect less than stellar service in the times of Covid.
