Dowtown Mall - Bästa läge i C-Ville - Sällsynta hus strax utanför Main Street

Du behöver inte en bil för detta, 100 Feet till Main Street, 200 fot till Downtown Mall, 700 Fot till UVA campus och UVA Medical Center. 200 Fötter till Amtrak Station. Behagligt gångavstånd till John Paul Jones Arena, Scott Stadium och The Corner. Vi är också belägna mycket nära Zip Car Stop så lämna bilen hemma och rida på tåget! Men du behöver inte lämna bilen, vi har också en dedikerad parkeringsplats för parkeringsplatser! Ett annat alternativ är den fria vagnen.

2 sovrum 1 1/2 bad Modern House, sannolikt den absolut bästa platsen för det jag letade efter; ett ställe att bo, nära till allt, men fortfarande privatlivet i ett hus! Förbered dig själv, kommer du inte vill lämna ... dess awesome! Vi letade efter en lägenhet att dela med våra VRBO vänner och snubblat över denna fantastiska lilla huset. Cirka 995 kvadratfot och så bekväm.

Vårt hem ligger inom gångavstånd från Charlottesville mest kända lokala restauranger, inklusive Mas Tapas, Tavola, och Lampo, The Local, och Junction (moderna mexikanska) bland andra. Vi är också en kort promenad till den berömda Downtown Pedestrian Mall med underbara lokala butiker; levande musik på The Jefferson Theater eller Sprint Pavilion (Downtown Amphitheatre); teater, komedi, eller opera på The Paramount Theater och levande konst; Violet Crown Cinema, läckra matställen, gelato, och Charlottesville Visitor Center. Många av Charlottesville populäraste attraktioner (Monticello / Ashlawn) är inte mer än 5 miles away. Vinkultur här har fått nationell uppmärksamhet och provsmakningslokaler på lokala vingårdar som Veritas, Barboursville, Pollack, White Hall, Keswick, Jefferson, Glass House tillsammans med den växande bryggeri turer av platser som Blue Mountain Brewery, Tre Notch'd, Devils ryggrad, Champion, och Wild Wolf ligger inom en 10-30 minuters bilresa och gör för minnesvärda dagsturer. Om du är en utomhus entusiasten, den Rivanna Trail (ligger i Belmont, ca 5 minuter) och Blue Ridge Mountains är rätt väg samt och lätt besökas för att ta i fantastiska vyer.

Magical Month

We were lucky to find this gem. The perfect location for all things Charlottesville. Owner was top notch to work with all booking and during stay inquiries were quickly and accurately answered. Plenty of space for a couple of two for a long stay. Every appliance needed was there and working well. An abundance of china, glasses, cooking ware and paper products were stocked. Friendly neighbors. Everything well kept in this cottage. Look forward to another stay here in the future.

An Ideal Little Spot

My sister and I hubbed out of Charlottesville for three days as we traveled around Western VA visiting family. The cottage is quiet, in a safe little neighborhood a block from West Main St, where we found lots of great dining and shopping options. It was a perfect little base from which to explore the nearby mountains and countryside.

Perfect location and clean!

Property was nice and very close in location to everything we experienced - the Historical downtown/mall, Monticello, U of V. Comfortable layout for 2 adults and 2 children. Parking spot on property for one car worked out well. Checkin/out was flawless.

Great Location! Very Comfy!

Super convenient for walking to campus and to downtown mall and to lots of good restaurants. Great to have a parking space. Loved the decor! Two comfy bedrooms upstairs and living area with small kitchen provided all we needed. We would happily stay again.

UVA Visit

This is a complete Cville gem! A perfect spot to walk to campus or downtown shops and restaurants or a base for day trips. The property is clean, well-stocked and very comfortable. It is close to the train tracks….we noticed the train, but it wasn’t problem in any way. (In fact, the location would make a visit via Amtrak an easy option!). Sarah was flexible, quick to respond and very friendly. I will stay again and highly recommend to any UVA or Cville visitors.

Great stay in beautiful 2-bdr home, awesome location

We had a great stay in this beautiful 2 bdr home just off Main Street in Charlottesville. Just a block from Main Street restaurants and stores, and a quick walk to the Corner or to the Downtown Mall. Home is very clean, quaint, and complete with all the essentials! Owner is quick to respond to questions. My college roommates from the 1980s and I stayed in this lovely home to visit and reminisce about our time at U.Va. Our stay in C'ville was made even more special by staying in this lovely 2 bdr cottage. Would recommend this lovely home to any C'ville visitor. We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful!

As others have stated and we agree- the location is great. It’s an easy walk to many nice restaurants and shops. The house is clean and cozy. Although the train tracks are nearby, we were never bothered by the noise. The area is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. Sarah is incredibly responsive and made our time there easy. We will be back.

Super convenient!

Our family of four and our small, well-behaved dog stayed here over the winter holidays so we could visit my parents in Charlottesville and have space to call our own. The house suited our needs well, and easy access to downtown was awesome. Check-in and check-out processes were simple and allowed us to arrive late in the evening and leave early on our last morning. There are a couple of quirks with the house (a finicky bedroom lamp, a queen-size mattress on a king-size frame?), but overall it was great and just what we needed. If you're a light sleeper, proximity to the train tracks could wake you up at night or an early train might have you ready for an Albemarle Baking Company pastry just a wee bit earlier than usual. Likewise, if you arrive in town via train, the house is within walking distance of the station.

Perfect Couples Getaway

Fantastic location in Charlottesville! Easy walk to downtown restaurants, breweries and shops. Sarah(owner) was amazing to communicate with before and during our stay. She gave us suggestions on places to eat and was great about accommodating an early check-in due to a last minute work issue. I highly recommend making reservations if you know where you want to eat in Charlottesville. We found that trying to get into a place for dinner and even breakfast on the weekend, was more difficult than we expected at many restaurants. The house was cute and perfect for two couples! Bedrooms were a good size with storage area to unpack our clothing for a few days. Plenty of towels to use for showers and the kitchen was fully stocked with what we needed for our 3 night stay. The only negative is there are train tracks about 100 yards from the house and the train comes through every morning sometime between 2am-4am, but we were always able to fall back to sleep.

Great location, cute property

I stayed here with my fiancé and my parents. It was an excellent choice. We could easily walk to downtown, and it is right by our favorite diner, Blue Moon Diner. Highly recommend.

Perfect Location

If you want a house that’s very close to downtown, UVA, restaurants, bars etc. this is the one for you. We really enjoyed our stay and found only a couple minor issues. The second bedroom mattress is worn out, the TV Wi-Fi fails constantly and the master bedroom TV would never connect. These issues didn’t overshadow the good and we’d book again for sure.
