“Mycket trevligt Slottshotell. Bra service och trevlig personal. Fint rum. Åt vår middag i Vinbaren då restaurangen var fullbokad. Bra mat även i vinbaren. Massagen på hotellet var fantastisk och poolområdet trevligt. Fick en flaska bubbel och choklad vid ankomsten. ”

“Fantastiskt rent och snyggt och förstås mycket rymligt. LGV ligger i utkanten av Libourne och är granne med vinodlingar (Merlot från St Emilion). Det är lätt att ta sig härfifrån till gårdarna i Pomerol, St Emilion och Fronzac. Välkomnande och hjälpsam service. Rekommenderas verkligen!”

“Mycket trevligt område, eftersom vi cyklade mycket tog man sig fram lätt. Många vinodlingar runtomkring. Deras egen provsmakning med fyra olika sorter tyckte vi bäst om rosé.”

“Food is excellent and we were made very welcome despite arriving late for dinner after a long drive. The chateau itself is a lovely building in a beautiful setting and is furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern. Atmosphere is relaxed and informal. We didn’t have time to use the spa facilities but will do next time we visit.”

“What a fabulous hotel! We loved the Pavillon - with all its charm and character. The hotel is beautifully furnished and decorated, in a lovely countryside setting with a beautiful view of the valley and vineyards. The breakfast was fantastic - with quiches and fresh breads, croissants, baked apples, fresh juices, jams, yogurts and eggs prepared fresh to your order. David and Nathalie are outstanding hosts and we loved our stay.”

“Our stay was unforgettable. Olivier and Nathalie are wonderful hosts of a very beautiful hotel with tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms. The dinners (table d'hôtes) were phenomenal with excellent wine pairings from the region. We also very much appreciated the recommendations on things to do in the vicinity and which scenic roads to take. We felt like we stayed with family. It was so peaceful and restful that we can't wait to go back and stay longer. Very highly recommended!”

“Vackert beläget alldeles vid Dordogne. Vi fick ett rymligt och välutrustat hotellrum i huvudbyggnaden som renoverats väl i gammal stil men med modern inredning. Lugnt beläget och en fantastisk uteplats ut mot trädgården. Mycket trevligt och hjälpsam personal! Synd att de inte serverar några måltider men bra restaurangalternativ finns på kortare bilavstånd (ett par på promenadavstånd 5 min). Rekommenderas varmt!”

Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable.
