Staff was friendly and accommodating, but too many little issues made this stay unpleasant. (not our first visit to this location).
1. We booked here because of the pool, only to discover that it was closed due to renovation - try telling that to a 4-yr old whose heart was set on going for a swim. Staff very pleasantly shrugged shoulders and blamed the booking partners who were supposed to be responsible for letting us know - never happened. Staff directed us to a nearby splash pad where they were sending everyone - that was closed for maintenance. Double-Whammy.
2. The bathroom door did not close/lock properly - again not a huge deal, but awkward with a 4 yr old.
3. The room door would not open properly - key was recognized but needed several tries to unlatch.
4. USB ports: Only 3 were available in the room, 2 of which were dead. So, 1 port was left for us to charge 2 phones, a tablet, a watch, and hearing aids. Staff did offer to send a maintenance person around, but it was already bed time.
5. Having stayed at other Holiday Inns, was expecting a small security deposit ($50 at previous HI), but this place charges $200 for deposit which was supposed to be be refunded. 4 days later it has not be returned.
We shall not be returning to this location unless some major changes made.
