Sophie Cabin - Ft. av Lookout Mountain, National Forest - City-Side

Sophie är en av flera pittoreska, små, rustika timmerhus på en trädbevuxen fastighet omgiven av nationalparken, bara ett stenkast från floden TN, en mil från South Broad och Ruby Falls vid foten av Lookout Mtn. Denna underbara naturliga och kraftigt trädbevuxna miljö är kapslad av staden med snabb åtkomst till centrum och utkik. Du kommer att njuta av ett möblerat bakdäck, täckt veranda och ett otroligt minnesvärt utrymme för din familj tillflyktsort. Sophie är den tredje kabinens östra sida.

Starta på baksidan, Sophie (uppkallad efter vår tredje dotter), och har ett bakdäck med Adirondack-stolar. Befälhavaren är värd en drottning säng, tvättmaskin och torktumlare, förvaring och TV. Precis ut ur befälhavaren är en inbyggd våningssäng belägen tvärs över hallen från hela badrummet. Genom hallen går vi in i köket, fullt utrustat för matlagning / matsal med elektriskt utbud, mikrovågsugn, spis, kylskåp i full storlek, skåp och en bar. Vardagsrummet och köket är öppet utrymme med TV: n tvärs över soffan. Loftet har två enkelsängar tillsammans med en byrå för förvaring av kläder. Avståndet på loftet är lågt, bara på 4 '- det är ett sovloft, inte ett stå upp och gå runt rymden.

Även om vi vår sammansättning är bokstavligen omgiven av nationalparkens land, är det en urban miljö. Vilket innebär att det är precis utanför US HY 41, Cummings Highway, ungefär en mil innan det blir Broad St. med körningar direkt till akvariet. Det finns aktiva tågspår som gränsar till fastigheten norr och I-24 är ungefär en halv mil bort så det finns lite omgivande buller. Fastigheten ligger vid foten av Lookout Mountain, med många klippor och ganska branta stigningar när de kommer in i stugan. Det är en gammal park under stadig renovering - dvs att tämja den engelska murgrönan och försköna den skuggade djupt skogsmässiga miljön.

Du är en mil från Ruby Falls, 4. 5 miles rakt ner Cummings / Broad till TN Aquarium, mindre än en mil till några av National Park Lookout Mountain Trail Heads, och bara 2. 5 miles till höfterna Southside of Chattanooga . Rock City ligger bara uppför berget på GA-sidan.

What a great experience! Adorable tiny cabin in the woods. My friends and I had a wonderful time staying the night here. The cabin was so clean, cute, and cozy. Communication with the owners was easy and seamless. The location was perfect for what we needed. We definitely hope to come again!

Overall we loved this property. The layout and decoration was cute and it was a perfect little spot for our family to stay while passing through the area. We only spent one night and were sad that we didn't get to take full advantage of staying on site. We thought the cabin was comfortable and wish we could have stayed longer.The only real complaint we had was that there were ants crawling on the wall in the bedroom which we noticed after my wife and I both said we felt like things were crawling on us all night. Turns out they were, but hey we are in the woods, so bugs should be an understood potential. Seems like an easy fix.

Birthday Getaway

This was our second time staying here at the Sophie cabin. Both times it was clean and cozy. Highly recommend for a small trip or even a good vacation with your family! Looking forward to bringing our kiddos next time!

The Perfect Spot

Sophie cabin is a perfect setup for a family of four. We stayed for two nights and the cabin was very well appointed, clean, comfortable, and perfectly located right near downtown.

Nothing short of amazing!!!!!

It was the best time! Our first time in Chattanooga and we absolutely loved it! This tiny home was cute quiet and quaint! The property is adorable! The family that owns it did an amazing job! The lights come on at dusk and the feeling you get walking by all the tiny cabins is majestic! I have zero complaints! They even sell wood for the fire pits so you can joy the fire at night!

Perfect location and ideal space.

This tiny home was so much fun to stay in with my significant other, my 14 year old daughter, and 10 year old son. We roasted s’mores and explored a few of the nearby trails. Attractions and restaurants were all 5-15 mins away. We had a hiccup with some rowdy trespassers but management responded immediately and sent people to patrol the next night as well. Can’t say enough good things about how well this was managed. The cabin itself was well furnished and the checkout instructions were super easy to follow. Coming from the Gulf Coast where beach condo checkouts can be extensive with poorly stocked kitchens, this was an incredible surprise. They supplied ground coffee, filters, extra trash bags and even had a wine opener. Very basic tasks prior to checkout. We loved it so much we plan to check out their sister properties in other cities.

Overall a cute little place. Some refreshing is needed. The bathroom door doesn’t shut tight and often has a crack people can see in. Maybe off track. The floor has some warping and wear but the beds were comfy and the cabin was super cute

Great getaway

We stayed overnight for a trip to the local aquarium. We arrived and had a lovely time. The kids loved the hot tub and the choice of a bunk house or a loft. We loved the space was clean, had everything we needed and felt cozy and comfortable.

Great location, Nice Cabin

Overall we had a great stay. The cabin was cute and had pretty much everything we needed. It was clean as well. The hot tub was nice and clean too. Very nice fire pit and covered picnic area right next to our cabin. Did have a pest issue that was addressed right away but pest did make another appearance in the cabin a few days later. Management was very polite and responsive. Location was great, close to all the attractions. But the main road the cabins are on is very hilly so not ideal for walking, running or biking around the area. The walking trails on the property through the woods are nice but could definitely use a clean up.

Best Blue Ridge Getaway --Don't Hesitate!

An ideal cabin stay for family and friends! My good friend and I try to get together with our kids each summer and this was an amazing experience for our first stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We have kiddos ranging from 8 years to 14 years, who were wonderfully entertained and perfectly comfortable with the accomodations, along with our family dog. Great side porch is doggie friendly with its own gate to keep our family dog happy outdoors-but-nearby just outside the cabin--and with ample room to set up our XL kennel, yet keep the screen door ajar so he felt like he was right there with us in the evenings :) The river rocks were so much fun to scramble over, the swing and hammock plus a fire circle set up down on the waterfront gave everyone plenty to do and enjoy, and just watching the kayaks and paddle boarders floating by the property was so much fun! The cabin is very clean and professionally set up to accommodate guests. The kitchen had every needed item, there were plenty of towels and comfortable bedding, and the arcade game and foosball table were a bit hit with the kids. Location is close to nearby grocery stores, restaurants and attractions, so we had everything we needed as we went gold panning, touring Helen, and even popped over to the Babyland General HQ of the Cabbage Patch kids, which is just as you'd expect it to be in person. Thanks so much for a great weekend. It would be our pleasure to return to the same spot, this cabin is wonderful!

Great stay in a wonderful little cabin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It was just me and my wife but there was room for at least 4 more. Very spacious for a tiny home and perfect for our short getaway trip. The host was also gracious with a couple of date shifts we had to make due to childcare falling through. We really appreciated Timberroot being flexible with us. Overall wonderful stay and would highly recommend to others!

Sofie cabin would be perfect for kids!

The property is clean and easy to navigate, with some cool little trails that run throughout as well. The cabin was clean with all the amenities, and the hot tub was ready! Lots of cool places for little ones to sleep- just one large bed for adults. We definitely appreciated the care that clearly goes into this.
