Rymlig North Shore Bungalow @ Coolidge Park

Denna plats kan inte slås! Mitt i hjärtat av North Shore. Det är ett kvarter till Frazier Ave, som har många unika butiker, restauranger och barer. En kort promenad över gångbroen är centrum. Denna historiska bungalow är lugn och trevlig och ligger tillbaka från vägen, med många trappor till ytterdörren. 3 queen size-sängar och en soffa, 6 sover enkelt i 3 privata rum. Det finns en extra hyreslägenhet "övervåningen" som hyrs ut till en hyresgäst på heltid med det enda delade utrymmet som gångvägen upp till huset. Denna plats är perfekt för barn eftersom Coolidge Park ligger 3 minuters promenad till stänkskyddet, Merry Go Round och hantverkare. Många tävlingsdeltagare tycker om den här platsen eftersom det också är en kort promenad till de flesta startlinjer. Denna plats ligger bredvid VRBO-listan # 138646 och # 421598. Great place. If I owned it, I would remove what looks like a very heavy shelf from above the bed in the one bedroom. Probably never will fall off, but if it did, it would kill someone. Made me nervous, which does not take much. But lovely place and great stay.

Excellent host

There was a housekeeping glitch when we arrived. I called the host, he immediately sprung into action. He resolved the issue personally and quickly. Mishaps happen, but the way a host responds says a lot. I would 100% stay here again and 100% recommend it to anyone looking. The house was in a great location that was easy to get to and convenient to the event we were attending. Loved the big island and well stocked kitchen. I read the other reviews and was prepared for the stairs. We used a backpack instead of a rolling bag and had no issues with the stairs. The beds were comfortable although one squeaked when you rolled over. The host bent over backwards with all of our requests. I would highly recommend this host!

Riverbend Festival

Cool property, very comfortable and cozy. Lots of stairs to get to the front door, so pack accordingly. The neighborhood is great with a short walk to restaurants and the river. We stayed for Riverbend and found it to be a great refuge from the festivities.

Great location and comfortable home

Very comfortable house with a wonderful front porch for relaxing. We stayed at this house while we attended the Riverbend Festival and walked back and forth to the event site every day. It was a lovely walk through town and across the pedestrian bridge. There's a great little restaurant just a short walk up the street - Aretha's - where we got a delicious breakfast. Accommodations were perfect for us - two couples. To note - you must climb lots of stairs to get up to the house. It just added to the charm for us. Thank you Cassie and Dusty for sharing your home with us. We had a wonderful time in Chattanooga. We will definitely be back.

Good location for city activities

Overall good visit. The couch is not comfortable nor were the chairs on the patio. One of the bedrooms had a noisy unbalanced ceiling fan that was not adjustable due to a broken switch. The toilet overflowed. Lots of steps to the house that were not shown so though they were not a problem for us, they may be for others.

Location is AMAZING! Super close to everything

The home is a much older one, but the owners have done a great job of modernising it and it was very well kept on the inside. The outside of the property however was a different subject altogether. This could certainly be a 5 star place if some time and attention were spent on the curb appeal as well as the safety of the outside. The abandoned building directly next door (practically on the property) is not the homeowners fault, however the broken glass and other building debris littered on the lawn should really be tended to. It made it impossible for my little ones to play outside of the house and a dangerous situation when coming and going. The pictures on the site are misleading when demonstrating just how steep the incline and climb to the house itself is. The location of the property is absolutely ideal as it's less than a mile to several great attractions. Overall, I would recommend this property - though not to any one travelling with young children, elderly or disabled persons.

Great location

Rented this property with my parents (in their 60s) and children. Positives: comfy beds, great location, they had some kids books, kitchen had everything we needed. Negatives: the picture doesn’t show how many stairs you have to climb. This wasn’t an issue for us, but wouldn’t recommend for anyone with physical impairments. Having only One bathroom is also difficult with 4 adults, but wasn’t a big deal for such a short stay. Overall this house worked well for us for a weekend stay!

Great location

I did the 70.3 ironman and thought this was a convenient location. It was also in funky local area that I thought was fun. Easy walk to food and attractions. People in the area were friendly. A couple of things people might want to consider though. Lots of steep stairs to get to the apartment and the shower was old timey and potentionally hazardous. A suggestion would be giving guests travel size toiletries

Not as expected

I will start out by saying that the location of this house is fantastic! It is within walking distance to restaurants, Clumpies ice cream shop (which is a MUST! the line can get long though) the pedestrian bridge, the river, the aquarium and shops. The street is quiet and the neighborhood is transitional. To get to the house you have to climb very steep steps which could be challenging for baby strollers or those who have difficulty climbing. I booked for 2 nights with two of my girlfriends for my birthday weekend. Unfortunately there were some issues with the house that we were not satisfied with so we chose not to stay for the two nights. I let Cassie know right away about our concerns and she responded promptly and refunded our money, which I greatly appreciated. I really like Chattanooga and had a good time despite not staying the whole weekend.

Great stay!

Enjoyed are stay. We were in town for the Head of the Hooch Regatta and the house location was very convenient to get to and from the venue. The house itself was very charming and comfortable.

Great location with a few downsides

Stayed here while racing in the 2019 Chattanooga Ironman. The location was great and was able to walk to everything. It's about a 25 min walk to the other side of the river to the race start. Plenty of room in the house to spread out. There are a lot of steps to get up to the house from the street so just be aware. Also, the house next door has a large dog with a loud bark. The dog likes to bark pretty early in the AM so did not get to sleep in any morning. Lastly, the tenant that lives upstairs made for a few noisy evenings. You can hear the footsteps clearly as they walk around. One evening it sounded like they were moving furniture for 2 hours till 11:30pm which was right above the bedroom we were in so made it really hard to fall asleep.

Perfect location

Stayed here with my children, sister, and dad. The layout was great! Only downside was the stairs that I knew about but didn’t register from a unpacking the car with 2 kids perspective. However, the fact we were higher up made it feel like we were in the canopy of the trees as we rocked on the front porch and listened to the rain at night. Loved we could walk to the park and for meals! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This lovely cozy home was amazing! Very satisfied with my stay.

This was a lovely spacious home. And provided so much for our needs. It was situated in the perfect place away from town but in good walking distance from entertainment and restaurants. This beautiful home was very clean and had a cute but rustic interior decor. Thank you so much for opening your doors and inviting us into your home. Charming Home and Close to Fraizer St

The house was very charming. Just a 5 minute walk to Aretha Frankensteins and a 10 minute walk to Fraizer street. The house was large enough to accommodate 7 ladies and even with one bathroom, was not an issue. The front porch was very large and the kitchen was very functional. Would highly recommend!

Our family stay at the house was great. The house was roomy, in a GREAT location, and very comfy.

We enjoyed our time at Cassie and Dusty's place very much. So relaxing. Away from the noise and traffic but just a short walk to the middle of everything.
