âNice small hotel, conveniently located to the train station and the old city. The hotel carries on the old French style of hotel. Indeed some historical charm!â
âWe were there for day 1 of the tour and to look around Lille. Enjoyed the hotel - dinner in the restaurant was excellent, breakfasts were great and the room was comfortable and quiet. Its on the tramline and 20 mins to the centre- or 10 minutes uber . Coffee at breakfast wasn't great - but everything else was!â

âA very basic room without any frills. Hard bed, hard pillow. Hot evening but because tree branches outside were skraping on the window we had to keep it closed to avoid insects and squirrels in the room!! Area ok, quiet but reminded of school campus. â
âThe one thing a hotel should provide is a good nights sleep, and this fails on this point. The double bed is just two single beds pushed together, so if you try to sleep together, you just end up with a ravine in the middle. The rooms have no AC or ventilation, so it is very hot, even when itâs relatively chilled weather outside. A fan is provided, but its just not enough.
The bathroom smells sewery and the toilet paper sits in a dispenser that makes you think youâre in a public toilet.
