Stayed 6 nights during the "wet season" - it hardly rained!!! Upon arrival - we were greeted by all the freindly front desk and of course the hotel dog - Bella. We were upgraded to a beautiful villa which came as a nice surprise! Beautifully clean and safe resort. We did yoga twice a day - 7am and 5pm. It was amazing the improvements that we both noticed in this time. The yoga instructors were so helpful and happy to give you individual attention where needed. The property is absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained. The grounds staff work hard at making the gardens so well kept. Each day we walked down the to beach for sunset. Food was incredible and all the restaurant and kitchen staff were happy to bend over backwards to meet any needs that we had. They introduced us to lots of beautiful Kerala traditional meals, which we otherwise probably wouldn't have tried. On one of the days we went out of the Carnoustie boat for a lunch cruise - this was one of the highlights of the stay. The boat is probably the most luxurious boat in the backwaters, and we had it exclusively to ourselves. Very nice!!! Jess loved the spa and was pampered with massages, manicures, pedicures etc etc. Rajesh looked after us very well - he took us on a bike ride and showed us local temples, took us into peoples homes where there was small industry and of course we fed the temple elephant bananas. This place represents fantastic value for money and the service is absolutely unrivalled. So much more
