“Vi hade bokat det näst finaste rummet, men det var som ett vanligt dubbelrum... Så vi blev besvikna och speciellt när vi vaknade tidigt på morgonen ut av trafiken från huvudleden som gick utanför. Utöver detta var servicen av kvällspersonalen perfekt och vi kunde inte känt oss mer nöjda efter kvällens besök i restaurangen! Vi besökte även den närliggande spa-anläggningen, men det var inte heller något att hänga i granen - överpris för en minimal pool, fotbad som inte fungerade och tre bastu...

“Beautiful place to stay. The little touches like fresh homemade mice pies in your room on a little cake stand. Room was excellent along with breakfast. Excellent staff.”

“Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall...

“Close to center of Sheffield. Clean rooms. Good to be able to choose to have room cleaned or not, staying 3 nights you dont really need cleaning done or new towels etc. ”

“One night stay was good for what we needed just very dusty , cobwebs everywhere , dust in the air vent in the bathroom , cracks and screws hanging out. Would stay again as the room is adequate just needs abit of a clean. ”

“Overall if you are a dirtbag climber and just in sheffield for a quick trip this place totally gets the job done. Our biggest issues were that there was no shower curtain so the bathroom flooded when anyone showered, none of the bathrooms had soap, and overall just super limited amenities. Also the trash out front was absolutely overflowing and was all over the yard. Honestly would stay again in a pinch, just would come with lower expectations.”

“Great little inn for short stays. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Has a decent bar/cafe downstairs and does a good breakfast. Has good parking and many local places to eat. ”

“Plenty of safe parking onsite. Didn't have breakfast, but had fish n chips for supper and it was really tasty. Room and pub was well maintained and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Reception is fully automated (no dedicated reception staff) but housekeeping and pub staff can provide some assistance. Ideal location for Chatsworth and the surrounding area.”
