âRoom was fantastic, spacious, clean, quiet (apart from a fire alarm but that probably doesn't happen very often) and customer service was exceptional. There was some work being done in the corridor but that did not impact our stay. We were meeting family and exploring the area and found it was close to the major roads. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of lovely food choices in the pub attached. I would recommend this hotel. â

SĂ„ vi blev besvikna och speciellt nĂ€r vi vaknade tidigt pĂ„ morgonen ut av trafiken frĂ„n huvudleden som gick utanför. Utöver detta var servicen av kvĂ€llspersonalen perfekt och vi kunde inte kĂ€nt oss mer nöjda efter kvĂ€llens besök i restaurangen! Vi besökte Ă€ven den nĂ€rliggande spa-anlĂ€ggningen, men det var inte heller nĂ„got att hĂ€nga i granen - överpris för en minimal pool, fotbad som inte fungerade och tre bastu...

âLovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall...
âOne night stay was good for what we needed just very dusty , cobwebs everywhere , dust in the air vent in the bathroom , cracks and screws hanging out.
Would stay again as the room is adequate just needs abit of a clean. â

âWe had a wonderful stay at The View. The room was lovely, very spacious and overlooked the rolling hills, plus it was quiet. The staff were very friendly and attentive and breakfast was delicious and all cooked and prepared to order. We had one evening meal at the pub itself which again, we couldnât fault. There is so much to do around the area and we will definitely be going back. A true gem of a find!â
âLovely property and couple. What a welcomed feeling for two jet lagged travelers. Thank you for making us feel welcomed. Room was clean and cozy. Bathroom was stocked with all the creature comforts. Tub was a sight for welcomed sight for sore eyes and the shower was top notch, with great water pressure, as per my husband. On-site parking was easy and convenient as listed. âWe stay at the Travelodge in Sheffield to move my son out of Uni halls. The Travelodge was easy to get to and parking was next door.
The staff were very helpful, especially with the parking. They also informed us on breakfast, dinner and bar times and about door lock times and what to do.
The room was clean and tidy, but I didn't get the best night sleep due to the traffic noise as our room over looked the tram bridge.
