“Large room, comfortable free parking, desk in the room and a number of plugs available on each wall. The stuff is fantastic and very helpful to accommodate guests. The building is a bit tired and in need of refurbishment. I would stay again”

“Inget märkvärdigt. Rummet städades inte under 2 dagar.”

“staff excellent. room clean, but could do with a fresh lick. food definitely needs improving ”

“I was very disappointed with my stay, particularly with the cleanliness and poor customer service. The sink was plugged shut, and we couldn’t remove the plug. The water contained hair, making it seem as though the sink had not been properly cleaned. When we asked the receptionist for help, they were dismissive and immediately said they couldn’t offer another room. They only came to help after we asked several times. The bigger issue was the extremely loud, squeaky floor above us after 1 am....

“hotellet som helhet är helt ok för en enkel övernattning. Vi kom sent, sov bra och åkte tidigt för ett skäligt pris.”

“Beautiful place,good breakfast,ample parking,easy check-in,clean rooms,housekeeping everyday.No availability of small fridge though.Overall worth the money.”

“The staff was fantastic; they kept the rooms really clean.”

“Stayed a few times now. Always clean easy to park and really nice staff. Highly recommend.”

“It’s was completely too ours satisfying both room, diner and breakfast”

“Camera pulita”

“Great location for Matlock Bath illumination. Hotel has an Indian restaurant which was popular but we had already booked elsewhere. The hotel is generally clean and tidy but some aspects of cleaning could be improved. The shower doors and bathroom floor would have benefited from a better clean. Good parking facilities on site and friendly staff. Hotel is a bit tired but places to stay in Matlock bath with parking are limited. All in all, good value for money.”

“Can`t fault anything about our stay at The View at The White Horse. We always feel very welcome having stayed on a number of occasions. Really good menu, food delicious. Would highly recommend.”

“Room was filthy, dust, dirt and cobwebs. Bathroom smelt like poo. Sink leaked. Entire room smelt of damp. Bed atrocious. The pillows were flat as pancakes and very old. Fridge didn't work. Staff friendly.”

“A little gem, easy to get to and staff very helpful and pleasant. 2nd time staying g and will use again”

“Wow, what a nice place. The staff and the restaurant were great. The place is old, has high ceilings and single glass windows. Here comes the problem. It was freezing cold. The room got ok after a while but the bathroom was just freezing cold. They should think about a solution to better insulate the windows.”
