“Ett mycket trevligt ställe som ligger på perfekt avstånd till flera charmiga orter på sydöstra Sicilien (Modica, Noto, Syrakusa, Ragusa etc). Utmärkt service och trevligt personal. Har en mycket prisvärd restaurang som serverar fyrarättersmiddag på kvällar. Frukosten på terassen var utmärkt. Finns ett spa i anslutning till hotellet som också var mycket trevligt. “Another great hotel. Very beautiful in an old fort with interesting historic values. This is in the country side between Modica and Ispica close to Cava Ispica. Very romantic, clean and nice, wonderful court yard and restaurant. We came by car and a hard time finding the hotel, but there are signs leading to it from Modica.

Modica Boutique Hotel
4/10 Dåligt
"For anyone who didn’t look at all the photos of this hotel, you’ll be staying in a petrol station, on the main road leading to Modica. While we could have looked through to image 25 and the satellite images, we had unfortunately not done so this time (but will be sure to do so in the future).
This was the start to a stay that left a lot to be desired. Cleaning at this supposedly 4 star property apparently does not involve ensuring that the bathroom is stocked with soap and schampoo. Neither does it involve removing dirty dishes (coffee cups provided by the hotel) nor does it involve changing visibly dirty bed linen. Just making the bed up as is and putting the dishes on the side is enough here.
The hotel also claim to have a private beach. We were sent on a wild goose chase by the front desk to find said beach, only to find that the place they sent us to didn’t exist, and once we had managed to find this supposedly private beach, it was indeed very private, but not for the guests of this hotel - but rather for guests staying at their separate hotel located on the beach.
All in all, this is a fantastic hotel if you want to spend your holiday keeping track on those who runs from their bill at the gas station. "
