Very clean and spacious property with a great location right around the corner from the main Chinatown drag. Lots of great food within a short walking distance of 3 blocks or less. (Ahjoomah's Apron Korean on West Cermak was our favorite!) Well stocked with the basics including laundry and dish detergent, coffee pods/sugar/dry creamer for the Keurig, soft towels and basic shower toiletries. You should be aware that as all of the these properties in this area are very old, the insulation and therefore soundproofing leaves a lot to be desired if you are a light sleeper. At times it will sound as if there are acutally people in the house with you on the same floor. It didn't bother us but I mention it for those who are sensitive. The upstairs folks are quite noisy at night and voices carry far, but it didn't bother us.
The front door keypad requires tapping hard in the center to get it to light up and display the numbers. This was very difficult to figure out at our 12:30am arrival after many flight delays. I'd suggest the rental company PLEASE put this information on the arrival email. It would be most helpful. Once we had our orientation and location scoped out we found using the alleyway to access the back door was MUCH easier and easy to see, as well as providing better rain protection. The front stoop is tiny and not well covered.
These two issues don't drag down what is otherwise a great property! We'll absolutely book it again for next year's convention in Chicago.
