Not what pictures look like in person
The entrance to the house was immediately off-putting—bottles and trash were scattered across the ground. As we climbed the stairs, we noticed the front door and screen were broken and hanging loose.Inside, we let the kids choose their rooms, but had to rearrange the front room due to a broken window that had been patched with bubble wrap and tape. The furniture was stained, and one chair had a broken leg, which we avoided using. The carpet throughout was heavily stained as well.The bathroom was in poor condition, with mold covering the tub and long black hair left in the shower. Towels had yellow stains, so we used only the ones that appeared clean. No face towels were provided.The kitchen was built on a noticeable slope, and the countertops were dirty. The floors had dead bugs and felt grimy, so we kept our shoes on at all times while inside.The one redeeming feature was the location—it was conveniently close to a bus stop, which we used throughout our stay. The bus and rail pass turned out to be perfect for this trip.
