Nice hotel in a prefect location
Nice hotel in a perfect location. Spacious room for a family of four. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, shopping and waterfront. A bit tricky to find the location by car, since the GPS showed us the way to the underground of the hotel.

Great location
Spacious room with great shower, bath amenities and towels. Perfect location within walking distance to everything. Nice staff and good cleaning. Unfortunately very noisy base ventilation (not aircon, that’s even worse, sounds like a jet plane..,) and all the police and fire fighters wailing on the street outside all hours through the night. Bring earplugs. But overall very good!

Expensive breakfast and bad service
The reception staff and breakfast staff (excl the guy) was not very service minded or friendly. The breakfast is ridiculously expensive. I paid 35dollar for a small standard hotel breakfast. I travel a lot and that kind of price is just outrageous. The woman at the breakfast was really impolite and inefficient. At arrival the reception was good but when leaving I asked to see my signed receipts. That is standard procedure in any hotel, but this was a big job for her (according to her). After that she was unpleasant and didn’t even say goodbye. Never experienced that kind of service in my 25 years of business travel.

Bra läge i the Loop
Perfekt läge intill riverwalk med fin utsikt från 20 våningen. Nära till sjön och Navy Pier. Kylskåp, micro och kaffemaskin ger extra plus.

Room and stay was great. Valet made me late the morning I was trying to leave. Need a better system because I had to wait 45 minutes for my car. The valet responded saying they would get my car but when I arrived downstairs 15 minutes after texting my car was not there. I had to walk next door and wait 5 minutes for someone to let me in since it was locked. Only to find out the attendant was sleep. The hotel needs their own valet person.

It was conveniently located to Michigan Ave and State street and Grant park for ease of walking anywhere. It isn’t a fancy hotel with elaborate lobby but that isn’t why I came to Chicago.
