History buffs will love exploring Chichester (8 miles), where you’ll find well-preserved city walls and the 11th-century Chichester Cathedral. Alternatively, head to the famous Goodwood House (12 miles) to admire this fabulous 17th-century stately home set in magnificent parkland. You may even be lucky enough to catch some motorsports at Goodwood Motor Circuit or some horse racing at Goodwood Racecourse.

Park in your private parking spot and head into this bright and cheerful reverse-level cottage overlooking Selsey Beach. Make your way upstairs and you’ll find an open-plan living/kitchen/dining area that boasts trendy, seaside-themed decor. Sink into the sofa and soak up the breathtaking beach views before you head to the chic kitchen area to rustle up some dinner. Share a casual meal at the foldaway dining table, and then unwind in front of your favourite TV show in the lounge area.
