“Staff was great. Park and fly option is great. My only complaint is that the tv is mounted in a weird way so only one of us could see the screen from the bed. The bathroom hand soap is mounted on a wall so you have to shut the door to use the sink. It was pretty noisy in the hallways in early evening. Other than that it was a great stay.”

“Although a very nice stay the location although convenient is off a major road with no lights. Taking a turn into traffic to the left to get back to the hotel when coming back from Dollywood was nerve wracking and up to a 10 minutes wait for a break in traffic before turning left. Turning right was also dangerous and required waiting for several minutes ”

“My husband and I were in Townsend for our grand daughter's wedding. We stayed at Laural Valley Mountain Retreat. We were on the second floor and had a great view. When I booked our room, I had no idea we would be walking up 21 steps to our room. SURPRISE!!!! These are thing you really need to know about when booking. My husband is 78 and I am 76 and have had total knee replacement in both knees. I was also wearing a heart monitor that weekend. Boy did I give it a workout. ...

“Cabin floor dirty - used a-tips, Bobby pins, etc on floor which tells us floor was not cleaned; trails are not easily accessible; felt restaurant food was priced too high. ”

“The lady that checked us in was just on her third day. She was nice and funny, a pleasure to talk to. The room was clean and stocked with what we needed for cleaning up. The parking was great and could walk to some restaurants. I wasn’t very impressed with the breakfast, threw the eggs away after one bite. Very odd taste. And the doors to the lobby were locked where we couldn’t even get coffee after hours until 7am. I’ve never stayed anywhere that coffee wasn’t available or at least coffee in...

“The breakfast was good and convenient. We had a room where the water from the shower drained out to the rest of the bathroom. So our bathroom floor stayed soaked. I understand that this was a handicapped accessible room but they too could have benefitted from a dry bathroom floor and some drawers to put clothes in. Not one drawer and only 3 hangers. Alex was wonderful and helpful, and parking was convenient.”
