Loved this place. Bed was super awesome. Big and comfy. If I could live there I would 😊 Loved the little balcony on room 8 with the water sounds.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a rear deck that that overlooked the beautiful Broad River with a view of Chimney State Park.

Sweet little gem
All rooms over look the river. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of the park and shops. Nothing fancy here, but a great value and well kept

Very rustic, but quaint! Comfortable and clean. Old motor hotel well maintained. Being riverside is a plus and the sound of the rushing water was relaxing. If you’re looking for plush and posh, this is not for you, but if you can appreciate the charm and rustic feel as to how this motel fits into its environment, then it is for you.

Fantastic location! We stayed on the bottom floor where balconies are closest to the water. So peaceful.

Great location. Walls are paper thin and our neighbors left their tv on all night which was behind our head. We tried sleeping the other way but we could still hear it. We could hear everything they said and every foot step they took. Could you post a note in the rooms that the next room can hear everything and to be polite?

Wonderful old lodge by the river. Enjoyed sitting on the open balcony. We were able to walk to the many restaurants and shops in town. The river is beautiful, enjoyable, and accessible. Host and staff were friendly and helpful.

The room is very…cozy…and you can tell it’s an old building. That said, the beds were comfy, room very clean, and the balcony was awesome…so relaxing to listen to the river and the birds. Staff very friendly and accommodating too. Old school mountain charm…I’d stay again!

We had a great stay. It is everything we hoped for! Quiet, clean, relaxing, walkable and most important….safe. Owners were friendly. Check in and out could not have been easier. Room had everything we needed. Great getaway!!

I stayed here once before the renovations. I was pleasenty surprised. Still very rustic and cabin-like. If your looking for relaxing stay on the river that’s clean but not fancy, I recommend.

Easy check in/check out. Small property on the river with outside seating on porch outside of every room. Very cozy with comfy bed. Internet was very spotty, but not surprised in the mountain area. Would definitely stay there again.

Just a great spot for an overnight. GREAT RIVER BIEWS. Most of the room is quite dated, except for a good mattress and TV. People were helpful.
