The Hideaway Cottage

  • If your looking for a place to sleep, shower and relax after a long day of fishing, boating or hanging out at the beach then our newly renovated one room cottage might be for you. It has a kitchenette, a full size bed, bathroom and a screened in porch. There is also an outdoor charcoal grill and outdoor shower for your personnel use.





    Linens for bed and bath will not be provided.

    You will be sent check in information a few days before your stay

We had a wonderful getaway here! Clean, essentials on hand, private, and close proximity to the beach and other essential attractions. Would highly recommend booking this cozy cottage for a short getaway in a fun location.

Great little getaway place for 1-2 people. Nice covered porch and chairs, mini fridge, hot plate, and a shirt drive from everything around the island. Everything you could need for a fun trip to Chincoteague.

Great value. Tiny space with not much room for luggage but very private and quiet. Screened in porch was nice. Close car ride to restaurants and beach. Owner very flexible and responsive. Perfect for a couple. Would stay again!

This is a perfect cottage for a couples weekend away from home. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch for coffee in the mornings and lunch in the afternoon. The cottage is within driving or biking distance to Main Street and the wildlife refuge, which we loved exploring during the day. The cottage was clean and comfortable for two.

This is the perfect stay for 2. The screened in porch is the perfect place to hangout. It keeps out all bugs too. There weren't many bugs around in general outside either! The outdoor shower is so cute and relaxing. This cottage is so cute and it's close to shops, the beach, and food spots, while also being tucked away for a quiet and relaxing stay.

Great private place! Love how it's just a few minutes from main Street and the beach! Front porch is great for eating outside without having to worry about the mosquitoes bitting! Highly recommend this place! We definitely will be staying again!

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet but convenient to the attractions of Chincoteague and the refuge. We enjoyed staying there very much and would recommend.One suggestion: If possible, a recycling bin would be very useful.

Beach weekend

My partner and I really enjoyed staying here for a long weekend at the beach. The property is quaint, very clean, has resources for us to use, and is the perfect size for a two person stay! I'd absolutely stay here again.
