  • Mini-Vacations and Monthly Rental Available. Amenities: New Queen Mattress, Recushioned sofa and new deck furniture for 2025 season Central A/C, Dishwasher, Microwave, New full-size W/D, 2 TVs, Smart TV and Roku, Wi-Fi, Charcoal Grill, Screened Porch, Outside Shower.Linens and towels provided. 2 dog maximum.

    Perfect pet friendly beach getaway located right off Ridge Rd., close to restaurants and shopping. This quaint cottage offers all the amenities, with bright, open rooms, perfect for a comfortable vacation. This house has a large, screened porch, outside shower and fire pit on the patio. Been working hard over the cold months to make Josie's Getaway as perfect as ever. We listen to your comments and are always looking to improve our cottage. For 2025 we have New Queen Mattress, Recushioned sofa and new deck furniture. Linens and towels provided.

    Pet friendly home $75. (per pet) will be added to your reservation. 2 dog maximum.

    Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid.  If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

While looking to book a long weekend to Chincoteague, we managed to find this property. It was booked solid for good reason! Location was great, it was exactly as described and loved the screened in porch with the swing. The welcome gift bag was an added touch. Even my pet was thought of. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Josie's Getaway is an amazing vacation rental! They provide everything you need to have a wonderful vacation! You can literally pack your clothes and that is it! They go above and beyond to make your stay memorable! The owners even leave a goodie bag with items like coffee, soap, napkins, etc! The house is absolutely beautiful and makes us feel so comfortable! We take our dog most of the time and they even include a present for the dog in the bag! We have stayed at Josie's Getaway at least 4 times and enjoy it every time! It is a perfect vacation rental!

Beautiful Cottage

Absolutely loved Josie's Getaway! From the location on a quiet street to the screened in porch with a swing. We felt right at home and had everything we needed. Appreciated that we could bring our dog along - she loved the porch too. Would definitely stay here again!!

Cozy and comfortable

Very neat and clean and lovely decor! Centrally located to everything so that we could go back and forth. Found an additional road to walk the dogs today. Quiet neighborhood and we were able to take advantage of many of the activities even though it is still early in the season.

Josie’s was very clean and beautifully appointed with a very appropriate beach and pony theme! It worked out well for 3 adults and 2 dogs. There were several neighborhood cats that kept the dogs entertained along with an occasional deer and squirrel! Next time I would reserve directly through Harbor Rentals and save a little $$!

The house was fine, clean and well cared for, but the location was pretty bad if you have a dog to walk. We had to drive to a trail twice a day because there was no place to walk her near or around this house.

The owners also left a cute gift bag including gift cards and a bandanna for our chihuahua! The neighborhood was quiet, we met some nice folks while walking, the location was convenient, and we'll definitely stay here again if we return!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this rental. Overall I love the home, and we were able to bring our pups along. The only issue we had was that the outdoor shower may need looked at since the flow was very slow, however, that definitely would not deter me from booking again. The washer and dryer were great to have to be able to wash clothes and towels after the beach.
