Very nice
My home had an electrical fire. This stay was beautiful and gave me the perfect atmosphere to heal from my losses from the fire. Things are a lot better now.

Cozy cabin getaway
Needed a place to unplug, unwind and chill. This was perfect. Clean and nicely furnished. All amenities advertised were as expected. K cup coffee provided was a nice touch.

Beautiful Property Amazing Residence
On a point on Green Lake. Crazy views and amenities galore. The place we stayed at had everything we needed. Complimentary coffee, shower supplies. Everything was appointed. They even prepped the fire before we arrived. You want an amazing experience with a private experience; this is it!

Perfect Getaway To Visit Family
This cabin was perfect in every way. Comfortable and well designed interior with everything we needed. Friendly hosts in the adjacent home. The included outdoor amenities were fantastic. Our young grandsons loved the oversized swing, fishing from the docks and the slide at the beach. We didn’t get a chance to use the beautiful fire pit patio, but it’s calling our name for the next visit.

Awesome family spot with attentive hosts
Dick and Vicki helped make our weekend at the lake everything our little family needed. Our four year old loved the beach, slide into the water, and the swing. If there were any questions we had, they were happy to help and recommend. The messaging communication prior to our arrival was so appreciated! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful stay!
We stayed here for our daughter's wedding in the area and it was just perfect! Vicki was so responsive and let us check in early and out late which was a huge help. The place is absolutely adorable, cozy, and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. This would be a really fun getaway during the summer months as well! We would definitely stay here again and we highly recommend it to anyone coming to the Chisago Lakes area!

Beautiful cottage
The pictures are spot on. We wish we could have stayed longer! The second you open the door, you are in a beautifully appointed cottage/cabin. Spotlessly clean and has everything you need. Very cozy bed, sofa, and an amazing fireplace. It is November so we couldn't enjoy the outside, but the yard looks amazing. We hope to return! Can't think of a single criticism (and I can be kind of particular!) 😁

Chisago City Cabin Review
The cabin was lovely -- decorated in a beautiful "log cabin" style. The kids loved "camping" in the bunk beds and we were pleased with the amenities provided in the house. It was the perfect space for two adults and two young kiddos. The beach is also a perfect spot to take our young kiddos with lots of sand, shallow water, and tons of fish. The cabin is indeed very close to the owner's home, but does provide some privacy. It is not a 'secluded cabin' by any means, but it is certainly a wonderful property on a lake that the owners share. However, we were very disappointed to see a "Don't Blame Me, I Voted For Trump' sign flag flying prominently on the dock. The owners certainly have every right to fly whatever flag they want on their own property. However, it is in poor taste to fly that flag in a property available for rent and use on VRBO, knowing many people of other viewpoints will be staying at the cabin. If we had known this beforehand, we would have chosen a different cabin. The owners of the property were otherwise very kind, accommodating, and welcoming in all of our interactions. They clearly put a lot of effort and care into welcoming guests, and we hope they will use our feedback to improve a great property and not turn-off half of their guests over such an unnecessary detail.

Vicky and Dick are great hosts there property is immaculate the only time you even know they are there is when they are grooming the beach and dock area which was awesome and the rental unit was perfect as well and had all the little extra touches that you wouldn’t normally get at other places and if you need anything they are on top of it before you even finish saying what you need and they are very nice people who treat you with respect and courtesy and my daughter and I had a great time fishing and the fire pit area is awesome as well and too top it all off we had a family emergency that we had too deal with and they made the check in process and dealing with our family problems so much easier to take care of I can’t say enough about how nice they are I would recommend this place too anyone looking for a relaxing family friendly place too stay and I will definitely be going back there again,so to dick and vicky thanks for the enjoyable vacation 😁

The property was absolutely beautiful and very well taken care of. Our little cabin was just what we needed. It was so cute and cozy. We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen. Everything about this charming cabin was perfect! Cozy and warm, clean and quiet, peaceful and beautiful. My husband and I had a delightful weekend celebrating our anniversary in front of the fireplace. (Too bad our children/ grandchildren are older... the hide-away bunk beds look FUN!)

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for our Fall get away weekend and we absolutely loved it! This place was SO clean, comfortable, quiet, and provided all the amenities you could possibly need. I loved the fact they had a book with suggestions of different places to eat/visit, how to work the appliances, and any other questions you might need answered. Although their house is near the cabin, we had complete privacy, which was very nice! We would love to visit again in the future! :) PS: The sunrises (with coffee on the private deck) were amazing!!!!!

Hidden gem!
This was a fabulous find! Beautiful location on the lake. The owners spent a lot of time on the landscaping and the amenities they provide. The house itself was super clean and cozy. Perfect location for us to bring our motorcycles and ride the area, day trip to Hay Days. Even with the cabin being located so close to the owners residence, it felt completely secluded. We really enjoyed our stay here! Bonus - the sunrises from the deck are amazing!

Great stay with lots of amenities
We loved our girl's weekend in Chisago City. The cabin is really charming with lots of outdoor amenities. We made lots of use of the kayaks and the deck, plus the grill is a nice touch. Vickie and Dick were very accommodating and helpful, and you still get quite a bit of privacy with their house next door. We were surprised to see a Trump flag blatantly posted up with the other flags on the waterfront - just something to note, if that feels important to you. Thanks!

Extremely Beautiful Property
One of the best properties we've stayed at. It's like a resort. We were very impressed with the property & hosts were extremely nice, helpful & accommodating. I took my parents (late 70's) there to fish, sit around the campfire & simply relax and this property was perfect for that.

Flag trumped our vacation
From the minute we arrived to this VRBO we were beyond impressed by their attention to detail in the experience they are cultivating for guests. From the fantastically manicured lawn to perfect fire pit with cat tails as a backdrop, to the amazingly fun swings/ninja line for children to explore and play all around the premises, to the immaculate “cabin” itself with cozy furnishings and the hideaway bunks that made our kids squeal with delight. It seems everything is intentional and it’s for that reason as we walked towards the lakefront beach that beckoned, that we were stunned and felt a gut punch to be greeted by a “Don’t blame me, I voted for Trump” flag. This seemed completely unnecessary and polarizing for a spot that seemed to put so much effort into the smallest touches. Where their space could feel like an oasis to many, the result of this flag immediately made our family feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We wish you all the best and hope you’ll consider this feedback to create a more welcoming experience for future guests.

We stayed here with our 2&3 year old and it was perfect. Our kids had a great time on the beach and feeding the fish. Great fishing right off the dock and the cabin itself was perfect. We will be back for sure.

We had another excellent vacation at this property. The fire pit and horse shoes were great additions this year. The cabin is immaculate, as is the property. Our boys loved fishing off the dock and paddle boat. Vickie and Dick are such generous and accommodating host. Highly recommended!

Great place
Very cute cabin, and owners are extremely accommodating. My husband and I booked this cabin, but due to a family emergency weren't able to go. My daughter and her husband were able to step in at the last minute and go instead. The owners were great to work with, and the "kids" had a great time.
