“The architecture of the main building is fantastic. The area of Khao Yai national park is amazing. To stay in this area you really need your own car so you can take tours into the park. It is hard to get taxis and you definitely need to pre-book. Nearest 7eleven is 10 km away and there are no other shops or restaurants in the region except for a small shed 3 km down the road. “The cottage was amazing and beautifully decorated. The lights were dimmer than what we were used to but in hindsight it had a very romantic vibe which was perfect for us as a couple. The outdoor hot tub was wonderful to soak in - although the water flow was not great, so it took almost an hour to fill it up to sufficient levels. Toilet bowl has giant ants crawling around periodically - not sure where they came from, they only stuck around the toilet bowl area. Not a big problem, more amusing...
