Don't skip this if your in Christchurch
Very nice place for both longer and shorter stays. I stayed one night before hitting the road. Pam is an amazing host! Was offered muffins and tea upon arrival. The room was super cozy and so was the garden just outside. The breakfast was the best I ever had in a hotell/bnb so far! Highly recommend!

did not end up staying there . very hard to find the place ,not inviting from the outside and no where to park , A tiny little plaque with the name of it on the fence . no prior communication about where to park or how to get in the gate.

We were warmly welcomed by the owners. The place is lovely, clean and we had a comfortable stay. Also, our request for an early breakfast was promptly accommodated. The dogs are adorable and friendly. Will definitely return again.

This is probably the nicest B&B we’ve stayed at and the service and hospitality was first class. Plus, their rates are very reasonable.

Hosts were lovely and the room had everything we needed for our one-night stay. Had a great dinner at an Indian restaurant within a few minutes walk that host recommended.

A beautiful old home and the hosts were very friendly. Walking distance to restaurants, would highly recommend a stay here.

A rose home
Pues llegamos temprano el cuarto aún no estaba. Nos recibieron en la sala con muffin y te. Muy alegres y simpático. La decoración de la sala bella el cuarto ni se diga. Todas las mañanas desayuno a la carta. La familia muy alegre su perrito un amor. Es un lugar digno para estar y si volvería feliz.

Great B&B stay in Christchurch
The hosts Pam and Denis were extremely hospitable and helpful. The house and room were beautiful, the bathroom was very modern and the grounds and gardens were well maintained. We had a delicious cooked breakfast and enjoyed our stay so much that we'd love to stay again.

The Lilac RoseBnB was warm and welcoming. The hosts Pam and Dennis were very friendly and hospitable in every way. The bed was comfortable.

The property was lovely in a very nice part of town. The gardens are beautiful. Our hosts were very frendly and helpful and gave us great advise as to what to go and see.

Pretty house with lots of antiques! The gardens and smelled good! Nice main family room with a big screen TV. Plenty of shopping and dining within walking distance! They cooked a nice hot breakfast in the morning. Pam was very helpful on the locations of were to go in town and provided a map. She even tried to ship an item to the next town for us that we inadvertently left. We were greeted with tea and coffee along blueberry muffins that were delicious!

Great stay. We already miss Ralph!
Very welcoming hosts with a beautiful large house and equalling nice garden. Great breakfast. Attic room is a little small for anyone above 5ft 7. Pam and Dennis are there to cater to your every need and we gratefully accepted their advice and their bikes to get around. The location is about 5k from town so you'll need some form of transport other then your own 2 legs but buses, Lime scooters and of course the bikes are all available.
