  • Du hittar din Happy Place i denna mysiga lantstuga med egen ingång, färska ägg (kycklingar på fastighet) och lugn omgivning. Ligger nära pittoreska historiska centrum av Christiansburg, nära alla moderna bekvämligheter, men ändå undangömt i ett avskilt 4+ tunnland bergsställe som miljö. Bara några minuter från VA Tech och Radford universitet.

    Välkommen av ditt eget stora främre däck med fantastisk utsikt över vår egendom, kommer du att njuta av ditt eget utrymme, våra kycklingar som lever i landslivet och vänliga hundar som strömmar över deras areal då och då. Happy Place was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting our son at VT. It is adorable and has everything you need. The hosts are very attentive to your needs. It’s convenient to everything. We will definitely be back!

Our stay was wonderful. The cottage is just as advertised and the property is lovely. My daughter and I were there for the Walk of Remembrance at Virginia Tech and this was an ideal location- not so close that there were too many people, but not too far out of the way either. The friendly kitty cat and beautiful chickens were an added bonus! We will definitely try to stay here again.

Amazing cottage, perfect for our Hokies graduation. Close to school, clean and cozy and after 4 years of tuition this didn’t break the bank! Hosts were wonderful! Highly recommend for football weekends, graduation and more! We will be back for football . One a Hokie, always a Hokie!

Stayed here for graduation. 15 minutes to VT. Everything at the cottage is very cozy. Super clean and very inviting. We’ll definitely stay again!

It was a great place to stay close to Virginia Tech. Nice and clean. The only thing was it said that there would be laundry and there was no washer and dryer. Maybe I read it wrong overall we would come again.!!

Very clean, comfortable, quiet - host very communicative. This was exactly what we needed to serve as a landing spot for our weekend visiting Virginia Tech. Truly appreciated all of the little extras - water bottles and fresh eggs in the fridge, USB ports in the outlets, plenty of towels, fresh baked sweet bread treat and a nice note from the owners. Will absolutely look here next time we are coming down to Blacksburg!

We had a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful and peaceful. Ron and Colleen (and Tim!) were so welcoming and readily available for anything we needed. Colleen was so kind to bring my son and I fresh lemonade and she gave us homemade fresh baked carrot cake cupcakes, delicious! Also fresh eggs and a goodie basket were waiting for us when we arrived!! The nicest people and the cottage is adorable and very clean! The location is 14mins to VT, easy back and forth. We loved seeing their beautiful chickens and the greenery in bloom. The cottage had everything we needed and plenty of room for us. Looking forward to staying here again.

VT Parents Weekend

This is our 2nd trip to the Happy Place. It is very clean and quiet. Paul & Colleen are great hosts. We enjoyed the fresh eggs and breakfast muffins. We will be coming back!

Great Stay at My Happy Place Cottage

This little cottage is comfortable and has everything you need during your stay. Paul and Colleen were great hosts and were very responsive. The cottage is decorated very nicely and was a great place to stay while moving in my daughter at VT. The cottage is very close to 460 and was easy to get to. The property was also quiet and beautiful.

Happy Place

The house was perfect for us and Colleen is so sweet and thoughtful! The coffee cake, eggs, and hand written note made the stay even more special. We will book more dates in advance so we can attend games next year and only want to stay here! It was a great experience!

Second stay was as good as the first

This was our second time renting here and it was great again. Easy access and check in/out. Very clean, fits our family well. My kids love the bunk beds (they are 10& 8). It is a great location to Christiansburg Aquatic Center.

Such a Happy Place
