“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in Beijing for a 10 days family vacation. I took a chance and booked us a location that was off the touristy spot where all the big hotels were - so glad I did - VUE is a hidden gem. We took to walking around the Hutong neighborhoods right away, my father loved his morning walks in Houhai Park which was right behind the hotel. “Cosy, luxurious room and very nice surroundings. It's close to a pedestrian street with many places to eat and shop, although a bit touristy. There are almost no cars nearby, so it's very quiet and calm. Close to the subway. A little hard to find the door.
Breakfast was excellent, but it's not a huge buffet. When I had to leave early for a trip to the wall (that the hotel arranged on a very short notice for a very reasonable price) I got a sandwich and coffee with me in a bag.

"Good Hotel in Center. Easy to reach by AirportExpress/Subway. Nice and friendly staff,mainly good English. Rooms are a little older but in good and clean condition. Our room on 13th floor had a nice view and the beds were comfortable with a more soft matrass. Breakfast Buffet was fresh and had plenty of choice.
They helped us with booking of a private driver to the Great Wall and cost was cheaper than on the main online sites. Also helped us registrate for Tiananmen, as it has to be done the day before. All in all, we were satisfied."
