âOld-fashioned but very nice place to stay. I asked for a quiet room and they gave me a room towards the street.....as the hotel wasn't very busy i would've thought I'd be given a room towards the back.

âReally lovey place to stay if you just want peace and quiet, very basic and very romantic and secluded.
Just hear in mind your only cooking appliances are a cooking hob. So any meals you plan on cooking must be cookable in a saucepan or frying pan.
That being said the rose and crown in Michaelchurch.â

âPhil is a great host, he explained and gave us a quick tour of the property, he gave us good recommendations for little excursions. The property was clean and very cosy, I would always recommend for anyone who wants to get away from the busy city life... â
âGreat place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.â

âA comfortable and enjoyable stay. Room was clean comfortably and so cosy! We were made to feel so welcomed and they kindly accommodated a veggie breakfast for us. The breakfast was lovely with fresh foods and lots of local produce to choose from. We even got a tour of the place! Would highly recommend a stay here. â
âWe were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. â
