My 1st time Staying at an Avid Hotel. Check-in was quick & the lady was very kind! Our room was 114 so right by the lobby, it was clean and quiet. We did have to ask for a roll of toilet paper because the 2 rolls on the hanger each maybe had 10 squares each. Not a big deal, though. My two dislikes? First to preface, the lady at check in said “the room has everything you need and nothing that you don’t.” Well the fridge in the room was very small & the only microwave was a small one in the lobby. So to warm up leftovers at 10:30pm we had to go to the lobby? Kind of weird but we were right by the lobby so not a huge deal either…just odd. Breakfast was ok. There were 2 warming pans: one had small omelets, the other was split and one side was chopped up bacon and the other was potatoes. There was a fridge with Chobani yogurts and hard boiled eggs. There was 2 juice machines with OJ, apple juice, cranberry(?) and maybe water? They also had a couple containers with shredded cheese and salsa for your omelet. Then there was a circle table that had bananas & oranges, another case had 2 different muffins, a couple different bagels, and some bread slices. Most of these were individually wrapped in Saran Wrap. There was some dry cereals and oatmeal, too. Coffee was offered 24/7. We wanted some ice and couldn’t find a bucket so my daughter had brought a small cooler that she filled with ice. Later after Matt Rife show, we noticed someone had stocked paper buckets by the ice machine.
