“Location, location, location! The property is located near all tourist locations. 25-30min walk from train station. 5-10 min from castle, gardens and samurai district. There is a beautiful shrine across the street. You’re also less than 5 min walk from the Omicho fish market. The staff were attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend it.”

It is the house of a samouraï built 150 years ago but with all the modern conveniences: air conditioned in every room, TV, WiFi, fonctional kitchen and even a washer/drier. “This was a lovely property overall, with a great layout for a family group.
Our only surprise was the laundry (in our unit at least), the washer was not a combo unit and you have to hang the clothing in the shower and use venting system to dry your clothes.
It was a surprise since there was no literature or instructions and it was our first time encountering this system. The desk agent did explain it the next day when we inquired, but it did take a long time for our stuff to dry. ”

“Very comfortable stay, quiet and most beautiful area with lots to walk to from coffee, restaurants and shops in the geisha area with stunning scenery. Great shower and bathroom, comfortable bed and Mitsukawa provided everything and anything that might have been missing like ice, iron. ”

“Hotel Pacific is perfectly located to enjoy Kanazawa. The staff was amazing. The bed was soft (which I like!) and the pillows were perfect! They have a little coffee shop. The cafe also serves some fun cocktails and their famous ginger drink.
