The only negative was that the kids were a bit to heavy for the fold out sofa bed.
Next time I will book with 2 real beds.
We fly to Edinburgh from Sweden now and then to visit relatives in northern England and love Edinburgh and can recommend a stay on this hotel.â
âThis was a great place to stay for our first visit to Edinburgh. We walked everywhere and it was very conveniently placed to do so. Breakfast places were handy, Rose St was close and we stopped there daily to eat/shop. Ed was especially helpful and we still have his map and directions. The room was very small, but clean and modern, and had everything you need. Loved the heated towel rack too! I wish that I had known you also had a hotel in London where we headed next as we would have booked...
âPretty good apartment hotel with desperate entrance to our building.
When we came the gas was off so it was super cold but fixed within the hour. Could hear som washer or something at night at times.â

âEtt otroligt hotell som vi kommer bo pĂ„ igen. Det kĂ€ndes modernt och var vĂ€ldigt frĂ€scht. Redan i reception doftade det gott som om man kom in pĂ„ ett spa och personalen var jĂ€ttetrevliga och hjĂ€lpsamma. Och lĂ€get pĂ„ hotellet var perfekt, Ă„ker man till Edinburgh och vill bo centralt och ha nĂ€ra till allt sĂ„ var detta bra dĂ„ det lĂ„g precis nedanför slottet och i nĂ€rheten av Victoria street.
PÄ rummet fanns allt man kunde tÀnka sig behöva, till och med ett paraply. Den lilla köket hade en...
âWe were very impressed by our amazing room at the Roseate. It had a bath tub in the middle of the bedroom with amazing views of the local church. Massive room too, might I add, it honestly felt like staying in a castle. Breakfast was very good and service perfect. Only issue was that itâs quite a walk from Edinburgh city center, about 45 min or so. We donât mind walking so it was fine, but for someone less mobile it could present a problem.

âLoved the big space, and the bed and couch were very comfortable! If anyone else is wondering as I did if the round dining table is a good size for working on a computer, thereâs plenty of space for 1. I preferred sitting by the window there so just moved the desk chair. Super easy to walk around the castle to get places, and a Sainsburys is a block away. Felt safe at night to walk back.
