“Complicated parking. Small rooms. Good breakfast. OK value for the money.”

“This was a first visit to property and we were very satisfied with all aspects of the Marina village. Although arrived early we were allowed access to room straight away, at that time of day parking was very good. Had lunch in bar/restaurant, choices on menu very good. For anyone travelling by rail station right next to site across canal. I would definitely stay again”

“in Harlow town park.BUT Needs major upgrade. It isn't a hotel it's a grubby hostel with a nasty toilet and shower separate from the room. The stained shower looks like a refugee from the 1960s It's a very sad place to be. The mattress was terrible, extremely uncomfortable so I didn't get much sleep due to the pain generated by laying on it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS”

“I stayed here twice this last month. The first time was fine, the only thing is you have to tell the reception each day if you want your room cleaned or towels replaced. The second time I booked my room around 8pm for check-in the same day. I somehow booked the following weekend (my bad). I turned up at the hotel less than 4 hours later and found out my error. However, the hotel refused to refund my payment despite recognizing my obvious mistake and me paying again for another room with the...

“The hotel is in horrible conditions, the room was dirty, spots on the carpet and arm chair , old rusty handles in the bathroom , my dog has stayed in better kennels!! 😩”

“A very comfortable country pub, with great food, top chef and well kept beer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My room was a tad small and basic but the bathroom was modern and hey this is a 16th century building and I enjoyed my stay.”

“Room nice and clean and well decorated.”

“Ett vanligt hotel.......ö”

“The breakfast is amazing. The room is cozy and the bed is comfortable. The host which is the owner are very kind and helpful. I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended.”

“No complaints. I had to check out very early at 4am and the older gentleman even came out to open the gate for me. Superb staff”

“Totally fine for a night sleep after a missed flight.”

“This hotel is a local pub with mainly locals hanging out having a couple of bears. Friendly staff. However there were a few problems. First of all, there were some kind of machinery (maybe a generator or a heater) within the hotel making a lot of noise even at night, making it impossible to sleep more than just a few hours.. Then there were some cleaning issues, like the bathroom fan being almost covered in dust, dirty floor, spots on the sheets etc. Chilly bathroom too. That's about it.”
