âIt was very very clean! The maids did a wonderful job every time they cleaned the room. The breakfast was included and there were several options to choose from! The staff was friendly and very helpful. Dana and Kelly at night were so wonderful and the day people were polite and nice too! â
âThis is a recently renovated Gold Rush era hotel, very quaint and authentic. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards which is nice, but have authentic period decor/antiques. The town is VERY small and cute, extremely quiet (in general) and a walkable historic self-guided tour. It makes a great base of operations for exploring the area.
A couple of things to know: it is 3 story, but because of the age, there is no elevator (typical with Gold Rush era hotels). They have one...
âIf you want to unplug a bit and get away this is the place. Very clean cabins. Kitchen had everything you need. Nice sitting area outside with a grill. Very quiet and relaxing with the Yuba River right there. Staff were extremely nice. Our dogs our now depressed we came home. Pretty sure they thought it was our new home. â
âThe area was quiet and calm, the room was small but not a surprise we saw the pictures. Itâs very much like a mini cabin and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. The beds were very comfortable and clean. â

âEntrance to the home was a bit scary because of the dropped off to the garage floor, especially at night when it was dark! The hot tub didn't look clean based on the look of the water. Other than that, everything else was fine. â
