âWe were visiting friends in Cromer Pier Show and I wanted to book a last minute Hotel. The Holiday Inn was the closest (over 20 miles away) and available and the best rate.
I didnât realise breakfast was included, which was a nice surprise when the receptionist informed us at check in.
We could have used the pool, but didnât have time in the end. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. My son and I will be back next year, unless we camp in Cromer.
I can recommend this Holiday...
âThis is the third occasion we have stayed at The Recruiting Sergeant and hopefully it won't be the last. We received a prompt and friendly check-in on arrival and were shown to our first-floor room which was a good size, as was the bathroom. Both were spotless and were kept that way for the duration of our 4 night stay. Overlooking the road caused us no concerns. Great choice of good quality food for breakfast and we had our evening meal there on 3 of the 4 nights. Superb choice of food and wine...
âWe stayed at this hotel for one night in August, the room was lovely and comfortable and they were able to accommodate our 2 children on Z-Beds in the same room- this was very much appreciated. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, lovely ladies serving the breakfast too.
The swimming pool is such a lovely addition, heated to a nice temperature. We will definitely be coming back! â

âI loved my stay, and it exceeded my expecations. The place is in a strange little back street which might look unpromising, but it's dead quiet and actually ideally placed just minutes from both the station and the cathedral. The place is very well kept, and simple but stylish. My appartment was like a Travelodge bed room and bathroom, but with a well-equipped kitchen and a living room thrown in too. The reception staff were all very pleasant and helpful and, overall, it was extremely good value...
âWe stayed for an event at UEA and the location was perfect for this. Setting was beautiful in a small village with a river running through -great for an evening stroll. Our bedroom was very very close to the road which becomes a commuter cut through in the mornings. This did lead to some unwelcome traffic noise from around 530am. â
âHad an absolutely fabulous week at the Parson Woodforde. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and a credit to Mark and Maria :) The food was incredible, all local produce with lovely fresh seafood specials and all very well seasoned! The roast on Sunday was one of the best Iâve ever had and we were made to feel very welcome and given loads of useful local information, nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were immaculate. There is a lot within easy reach of the pub with the coast at...
